I have been wearing these shoes for about a year. I would buy them again. I do a lot of trail walking and average about 3 miles a day roughly. They can be rugged, but clean them up and you are ready to hit the tavern. I have not even gotten a tear in these shoes. Very impressed. My only complaint is the tongue. It moves and many times it slides to the side. I have had to make some alterations to help that. That was annoying but it is only one shoe. So it could be my foot or the way that foot walks. who knows but the alter worked.

So I bought this needing a reliable shoe to trek a massive estate. Lots of gravel and mud. After a 10 sometimes 12 hour shift my feet feel perfectly fine! Great traction and nice snug fight, id maybe size up a half or so but overall this shoe is great. The laces do untie often so I plan on switching them out.

Purchased about a year ago. Very comfortable used for walking around, not hiking. Only complaint is about the laces. They are too long and VERY slippery. They tend to unlace themselves when walking unless extra twists and knots placed when I tie them, and eventually it happens anyway.

Always loved Columbia for their summertime stuff (shoes, shorts, shirts) but when I even needed something more rugged for work (not quite work shoes just a tougher sneaker) I never really thought of Columbia. Recently I needed new sneakers for work and the brand that I usually bought had changed their designs and I just really didn't like them so I figured I would try Columbia. Very glad that I did. This shoe fit my every need. The only issue I had with it was that the shoe took a little longer to break in (was a little stiff) and that is the only reason for 4 stars and not 5. Just to note-when they finally got broken in they were perfect. I highly recommend this shoe.

I bought these shoes from a local retailer 8 months ago and they have held up fantastically. I work everyday on clay tennis courts and surrounding greens at a Country club. The abuse from the court materials and grounds maintenance have not phased the performance of these hikers at all. They keep my feet very dry and comfortable. Have gotten my feet wet once when I slipped into a retention pond. the shoes dried before my socks did. The only negative issue is that the insole is getting a little thin as of late.

they seem like very well made shoes, but they were very tight around the top of my feet especially around my toe joints.

My first pair of Columbia shoes, good fit, comfortable, good grip for camping and hiking. I considered hiking boots but they are completely unnecessary where I live. The soles are almost too grippy they grab tree roots like crazy do you have to be careful. I would recommend these strictly for hiking and camping and not for walking on pavement every day use so much. Mostly off road sole, which is very tough, yet with grippy knobs on it. I will definitely be getting another pair of Columbia shoes when these wear out eventually. Keep up the good work! I got mine on a really good sale, but would definitely consider full price for another pair, they are worth it to me.

I have only had them a few days but they are very comfortable and extremely light weight-which is what I wanted. Seem to be true to size for me.

I've been wearing New Balance shoes for over 10 years and can attest these shoes are of the highest quality in material, comfort and performance. They're durable and lasts much longer than other brands (I'm especially hard on shoes).

Got these a half size up per reviews, fit is good. Took a bit to break in but felt comfy after that. The tongue would kind of bother my foot so i adjust them to the sides and cords or super long so have to tuck them in lol

I purchased these to wear at work and they have proven very comfortable. They are very smooth right out of the box. The only downsides are that they don't have great traction on wet concrete and the flat laces come untied easily even with them double noted. The wet traction is the only thing preventing a 5 star. They are really comfortable and I purchased another pair for my middle schooler as he is able to wear black sneakers for his school uniform.

Unfortunately the silver color pair I purchased dies not have the black patches on the sides as depicted in the photos. I haven't worn them yet but contemplating a return. There's just too much silver with no contrast and you need to get the photo right!!

Mostly comfortable but just a little narrow at the outside of the foot. Still adjusting the laces to provide more room. I like the style, color, and fabric, and the shoe if very light.

Bought these due to searching for non slip on Zappos. Stated these are slip resistant in and off trail but also again came up I. Search for non slip. I work in a kitchen and spent $70 on shoes that are definitely not non slip. They are super comfortable and look great. But was sold on bad description. I still recommend these shoes but not for non slip. Someone may want to fix that.

Good fit, very comfortable shoes. After a month they began to squeak when I walk. I thought it might be rubber bottoms on hard polished concrete surfaces but turns out it continues on carpeting. something within the shoe itself is squeaking. Very distracting. I can't wear them anymore. Too bad, they were very comfortable.

I have a narrow foot. These shoes are advertised as true to fit. Not even close. Way to constrictive and promptly returned.

It's not just these shoes. Most shoes getting made these days keep cramping up at the toes of the shoe. I just went through 5 different brands that all have this problem, so I'm pretty motivated to express frustration somewhere. Here it is.
