After only 5 months these sneakers developed holes in the mesh parts.

I have been wearing Merrell shoes for 20+ years. I have never been so disappointed as I am with these shoes. I took them on a trip to Europe and into the second week my feet were hurting, and my toes were sore. When I realized something wasn't feeling right, I removed my shoe to find the insole kept working its way to the back of the shoe, leaving a gap at my toes. The insoles refused to stay in place. I wasted time trying to find a new pair of shoes instead of seeing the sites that I had planned and had sore feet to boot!

I bought these for an upcoming hiking trip. I have only had them for 1 month and have been wearing them almost everyday to break them in. But the fabric is starting to fray and show signs of wear already. At $120 a pair, I do expect them to last longer than a month. I am leaving for my trip in less than 2 weeks and don't have time to look for another pair of shoes and break them in, so I won't be returning them. But won't be buying another pair either.

I always buy Merrell shoes. This is about my 10th pair. Love the moc's & all the sneaker styles. I bought this pair in December. It's now June & they have huge holes & tears in the fabric. They look like my 3 year old pair I threw away (also Merrell's) when I bought these. Mind you, I didn't wear these for anything except in the yard and around the house. I live in town & am a 50 years old w/ Lyme disease, i.e. I'm not putting a lot of extra wear on these or anything. Super bummed about these, & now I have to buy another pair :(

I read all the reviews on these shoes before I bought them. I thought the people who had holes were just rough on their shoes… lol. Boy was I wrong. I bought these shoes 10 MOs ago. I didn’t wear them all winter as it snows here and the ground freezes. I also rotate them with other shoes through the week and don’t wear them on the weekends. I work in a office and am at my desk 80% of the day and yet I have holes on both sides of my right shoe and one side of my left, but look at those treads! Practically BRAND NEW. I need a new pair of sneakers and will buy anything but these.

I have had these shoes a month and have worn them a dozen times and they are already falling apart! You can see where my shoes bends the fabric starting to fray. I want a refund but how can I once I’ve worn them!?

VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED. I bought these shoes about 6 months ago and wear them occasionally and the mesh on the left shoe has already busted out. I only wear these shoes to go out and about - no major athletic activities. I’ve been buying Merrell Shoes -many via Zappos and am VERY VERY disappointed in these shoes.
