Bought these shoes for a recent trip out to Colorado to see family. No break-in time needed. They were extremely comfortable walking trails or just wandering around the ski villages. Highly recommend especially from someone who deals with foot/heel pain from plantar faciitis.

So far I've have worn them to walk across a rock jetty, on sandy trails and to walk my dog. This sole is grippy and I've had no blisters or discomfort at all. I'm excited I found an attractive pair hiking shoes, that fit well. The bright colors make me happy!

Glad that 1/2 sizes are available. 7.5 fits great for length. The soles don't stick out at the back or the sides so your feet look smaller. I'm thrilled that they fit my narrow double A foot. Comfortable and colorful!

Fit is perfect for my wide foot and they were comfy from the first time I wore them. Very stable base for my foot - but the shoe is light.

Oh how I love these shoes. I guess our feet grow as we age? I have purchased Merrells in the past because I like that they have a wider toe box (even medium). So after trying my size a 7 and they were too narrow, I went with a 1/2 size up and yipee they are a perfect size. Thank you Zappos for your excellent service.

I've been wearing Merrell's for years. The styles change and I'm not always satisfied with some of the new models but the Antora is fantastic. It fits my foot like a glove. It has excellent arch support, a nice rounded toe box , a secure fit on my heel and very good laces too (I don't have to double knot). After trying many types of walking/running shoes, I have decided my feet need more support and a firm feel when I step rather than the overly cushioned feel you get from some brands. Merrell trail runners have usually worked well for me and these Antora have been perfect from the time I slipped them on.. no break in necessary. I hope the company keeps this model for a long time!!

I bought this sneaker 2 months ago. I need a wide shoe due to bunions on both feet, as well as needing a supportive sneaker. I stand on my feet for hours on end teaching my art classes and my feet and back do not hurt a bit. The colors are so bright and beautiful as well. I've had so many people ask me what kind of sneaker it is! I 100% recommend this shoe!

Bought for a trip to Yellowstone. Literally pulled out of the box when I arrived and wore every day for 10 days hiking and walking non stop there. No tired or sore feet. So comfortable!!
