Not the same fit as Moab Boots. They feel narrower in the toe box. Great cushioning and support for hard surfaces. Because I replaced the insoles with custom orthotics, which are thicker, my foot does not sit down into the shoe the way it does with my Moab boots. Therefore, I do not feel as steady when I walk on uneven surface because my foot is sitting higher on the cushioned sole. Excellent shoe for walking around town on sidewalks.

I have a fat foot and ordered a 9M instead of the 8.5 WIDE, I normally wear. I've been wearing for a week, walking 6 miles a day. They feel good. Maybe a little stiff. They feel pretty good, but not a 5. I got the Gray color and do like it.

The shoe is very comfortable and true to size, the only downside is it gives almost no support for a person with low arch ,so I bought a pair of insole to correct it,it is not a bad shoe but for a person like me,I should have check before but I will keep them with the insoles.

Pretty happy with these so far. Seem to be well made and feel light, not heavy. Tread provides good traction. Footbed absorbs shock well. My only nit is that the heel cup has some slight pressure points on the inside front of my heel. Might go away as they break in more. Just haven't had that sensation in other shoes. Does "lock" your foot into the shoe providing stability

These look great out of the box. The insole is weird and uncomfortable but you can remove it so perhaps that would be something a person could easily remedy. These were for my husband but he wasn’t impressed enough to keep them. He’s hoping to find a trail runner that works because the klunky trail shoes aren’t cutting it for him.

Just slightly on narrow side. If had to reorder I’d get the wide width but I’m certain after a couple of weeks it will stretch and be fine after they are broken broken in to there full extent. Other than that they are perfect and I love them.

Comfortable, my main issue was the delaminating sole that occurred after about 3 months.

Been wearing Merrell for a long time. Bought these as a light summertime walking/hiking shoe. They are very comfortable so bought another pair as a backup. For the first several days they were great, now when I walk, they are very loud (squeaky)... I changed out the insole due to the fact the factory ones are very thin and not too much arch support.
Hopefully this issue gets resolved.

I bought the Moab Flight shoes for workouts at the gym. I've worn them 5-6 times. They seem well-made, I have no quality concerns. They just don't "feel right". My feet feel like they're rolling inward, as if the outer portion of the soles (left edge of left shoe, right edge of right shoe) are slightly thicker than the rest of the sole. Maybe that's beneficial for trail-running, which is what these shoes are primarily designed for. But for general fitness use at the gym, I will look for something different next time.

Very comfortable underfoot and great color combo. Had to return because even though the size was right, they were too sloppy of a fit in my heel and mid foot area, no matter how I tried to tighten them down. If they work for your foot they should make great shoes. Merrell return process went smoothly. Recommend the company and their products.

Not a good all day walking shoe. I added another insole but made it worse. Great for short term hiking.

The footbed has just a bit too much arch support for me, I prefer a completely flat platform. Getting too much heel movement in the form of slippage, find I have to use the lace holes furthest back to avoid slippage.

Comfortable, but I don't have enough confidence in these shoes on descents. The fit seems to be slightly longer, which doesn't inspire grip.
Shoe design wise, I wish I had more positive things to say... Looks good from the side, but not from front, or looking down .

I love the look of this shoe, had to have it. Ordered in the size of my 5 other Merrell shoes, and they just didn't fit. I have never had to order or buy a shoe in a WIDE, the standard shoe always fits no matter the brand. But these, just too tight. I returned and ordered the next size up. Still too narrow, but now with more room in the toe. I wish this shoe came in a wide like most of the others.

I have peripheral neuropathy and the only shoes that feel comfortable are Merrell Moab hikers. I was hoping the Moab Flight would have the same feel and support with a slightly more stylish look. Not true. Inserts were not comfortable at all. It did not take 5 minutes in my carpeted living room for me to put them back in the box. I do understand my neuropathy is not your fault.

The shoes were not good for me. There is too little support in the heel even after replacing the liners with liners with a better heel cup.

I really liked the way the midsole felt in this shoe. Not as soft as HOKA, but still felt soft while being a bit more firm. The uppers are too tight, though. pinky toe was feeling squeezed and so was Achilles tendon. I have some Moab 2 ventilator shoes as well and those feel great, plenty of room in toe box and not tight around Achilles tendon. I pulled out the inserts from both to compare, and they were the same size. So it seems just the uppers on the Flight are too tight/narrow.

I've been a Merrell fan for a long time primarily with the Moab and Trail Glove line due to comfort, price, and lifespan. After reading some of the latest Trail Glove reviews, I thought I'd give the Flight a whirl after viewing the great reviews After a dozen or so wears, I don't think I'm going to be able to keep them. It hurts the talus and tarsals area just on my right foot. Maybe it's because of the medium width, and the toe box isn't that big.

First, I own quite a few Merrell boots and shoes, and have always been happy with them. I wear size 13, and Merrell's feel a little more generous than many other 13's from other companies, and these were no exception. Fit and feel great!
But I bought these because of some reviews I read that said they were good for winter/ice, (not on Zappo's). It only took a few steps to realize they are TERRIBLE on ice, unless you're looking for skates. Not Zappo's fault, and I'm keeping them for non winter trail walking/running.

These shoes were short and not as wide as I expected even though I ordered a half size up. The design of the shoe felt like I was walking on my toes. Might be good for running but not for walking.

I liked the look, and I like the shoe, but not quite as much as I hoped I would. It came with 2 spots of glue (?) on the upper of the left shoe, but I (stupidly) decided it wasn't that bad. Now it drives me crazy every time I wear them. Even though the laces are nice material, they don't stay tied, so I have to double-tie them. And I wish the gray was more white. They are comfortable, but not as comfortable as my Merrell loafers, which have a higher arch to fit my high-arch feet. But all in all, they are comfortable, well made from good materials, and look pretty good.
