While the materials and construction are good I was shocked by how I feel every little nub of the tread pattern under the front half of my feet. I would have expected adequate cushioning of the footbed. If they feel this bad out of the box I'm sure it will only get worse as the insole compresses from use. I live in a rural area and have to rely on buying shoes online. If I had been able to try these on in a store they would have gone right back on the shelf.
