The elastic slips when you walk. Not good for distant walking.

I just received the sandals, try them on and found them extremely uncomfortable, very hard material. Can't wear them for 1 minute.

I want to love these sandals, I have been trying so hard. The heel kills me though. I get massive blisters on my heel and the elastic scratches and cuts my ankle. They are so cute though just terribly uncomfortable. I gave them to a friend to see if she wanted them and she had the same issue. I love sorels, these are the first that have not worked for me.

My foot flops up and down when walking causing blisters. Normally I love this brand but ouch

These are heavy and big and so high on the ankle that they are very uncomfortable.

I'm a size 7 and had to give them to my friend who wears an 8.5 because they're so big. They were extremely uncomfortable because the back strap scratches the ankle when you try to walk.

My heel would not stay on the sole of the shoes. It's not possible to walk for even a short distance in these. They do look great, however, just as in the picture. I'm unsure what foot type would fit into these.

I returned these. Super cute, but they "slapped" against my ankle and rubbed just walking around the house.

There is zero arch support. Overall the sandal was very stiff. Not the cushion and/or comfort I've come to know with Sorel.

I wanted to love these sandals, as they are very lovely, and should help my plantar facsiitis. I have several Sorel shoes I love and wear all the time, but I'm returning these. However, I have to agree with the many reviews that mentioned tight straps. The ankle straps were sewn way too tight, and I have fairly thin ankles, 7.5" at the narrowest part. I'm giving the measurement so women can check themselves. They caused deep indentations in my skin, and I'm sure interfered with the blood flow to my feet. It was very obvious they were sewn too tight, and with the multiple reviews mentioning this, it isn't a one-off problem, but a longstanding one they need to fix. If they did fix it, and notified me, I'd by them in a NY minute. Listening, Sorel people?

I was very disappointed in these shoes. The quality was poor, the fit was very far off from any other Sorel sandal I've purchased. I returned them immediately.

I was so excited to wear these because they were so cute!! but when they arrived and I put them on and hoped they would get better after breaking them in.... but no... no such thing. These are so terribly uncomfortable. The straps are tight, if you want to even pretend to walk in them you have to leave the zipper up down the back I'm done. There is zero flexibility or rock in the soul so they are just clunky and really unflattering to walk it! Great if you're holding still... but good luck looking graceful in these babies :-/

I really wanted to love these, but like others have said, the top strap is super tight. I have the smallest ankles and these gave me an ankle muffin top. No shoes have ever done that before. There's also a zipper up the back that got too close to pinching. Very poorly designed. They also generally felt cheap and did not support the contours of the foot like most Sorels do.

These look great but the front strap is really loose in my normal size and the ankle strap is really tight. Have to send back.

I own several pairs of Sorels, each has amazing fit and comfort. This sandal is adorable on and super comfortable. It would have been my summer sandal... Except for one serious flaw. The ankle is way too tight with no way to adjust (my ankles are really small). It's so tight that my feet had pins/needles, burning, and pain. I suffered through this for about 10 hours since I didn't bring back up shoes the first time I wore them. It dug into my ankle so hard that my leg had an actual muffin top. It took 2 days for the imprint to go away and the top of my feet are still completely numb. I read another review saying the ankle was way too big. Quality control please! Make these ankle straps adjustable and you have an amazing design!
