These make a sound as I walk on our wood floors when my feet land. The mesh is thin and I can see the color of my socks, which I don’t like. I have another model of this brand and don’t have these issues. Both have the same firm cushioning. Soles are removable. Having the laces go all the way around the shoe is odd. The laces are round and seem like they would untie with wear. I’ll be returning these shoes.

I ordered these to replace the same shoe with a strap. They are both light, and great looking but they do not hold up well for the price so I returned. The old ones were fine w socks, the new black ines were short in the toe. That is where the fabric is the weakest. Sorry Sorel but thank you Zappo’s for accepting my old ones. I’ve never seen shoes wear out so fast.

Very cute. Love the tread. I gave them 3 stars as they do not have much support and run small. I would recommend going a half size up.

Perfect fit and comfort EXCEPT for the elastic around the ankle! Made indentations in my skin after I took them off. I’ve seen where others have this issue. Too bad since they’re comfortable otherwise and very light. I need to return.

It was a huge effort to get my foot in the shoe due to my high arch. There is no tongue but a stretchy top and it wasn't stretchy enough for me. I didn't like the balance I tipped forward. I'm sad to return them because they are cute.

Super cute shoe and style. Sorel sizing is always a bit off comparing to other shoes/boots they offer, with this said I think the width is too narrow and have to size up 1/2 a size or wear super thin socks - which I opted for with these shoes since the ankle is extra low and it's cuter w/ the no-sock look. I've owned these for a couple months and they are my errand-running shoes - I don't walk extra in them or go on crazy hikes. With that said, they are super comfy but the fabric around the toe started showing wear after a couple wears and now there is a hole - I take extra care of my 'town sneakers' so I'm bummed these didn't hold up. I still love them, but they aren't my extra cute errand-running shoes anymore.

I wanted to like them so badly!! They are such good looking shoes, but the throat comes up so far that my very high instep makes it very uncomfortable and these will have to go back.

For comparison with your own foot: I am a true 8.5, medium width but for a small tailor's bunion developing on the small toe side of each foot, very high arches, high instep. I tend towards over pronation and walk with a first metatarsal drop (meaning I strike the ground with the big toe side of my foot first, especially when running) for which I have compensatory orthotics. I am inclined to tarsal tunnel compression. Really strange looking shoe, *really* weird, two piece sole, but I actually liked them. FYI, this is a slip on sport shoe, regardless of the laces (which appear to be for decoration). Normally, because of my high instep, I can't get my foot into a slip in sport shoe, but I could get my foot in just fine. However, I found them to feel about a half size too small (short) and crazy narrow. The upper is a soft mesh material (totally inappropriate for winter weather), so my foot literally hung over the sides of the foot bed/sole. It's too bad, because I think the shoe would actually be quite comfortable other side. Back they go!

Beautiful shoes but don't think that it will be the type of support needed for exercise. Great for walking around not so much for running.
