I was looking for a dedicated pair of boat shoes that protected my feet from the inevitable obstacles on boat decks while providing breathability, quick drying, and soles that don't mark up the deck. I found these and needed only one additional question answered: I am a normal 9 1/2D in just about all shoes, with a tall instep so a more relaxed toe box would be good. Alas, out of stock in this color and 9 1/2. Reviews for Moku Pae suggested these run a bit big, so after a quick email interchange with one of the Olukai support people who suggested 9 should work well, especially if wearing without socks, I ordered the size 9 Moku Pae in bright white. Perfect fit, and comfortable right out of the box! Thank you Olukai for the knowledgable feedback and the great shoe. Will look to buy another color I think!

Very comfortable and awesome

First of all, my size is a 10, so perhaps the algorithm is having a bit of a seizure? This is a great shoe. I have 3 pair now, after getting the blue one (10) as a replacement for a new model built on a narrower last than the wide toe box original last that I first loved with the Nohea Mesh (I have 3 pair of those as well) but which, sadly are no longer available. I have a few other pair, all on the wide last. Be careful if you prefer to not have your toes jammed together when you walk, stand, or sit. I think it would be helpful if they eschewed the current trend towards sheikh, uncomfortable footwear, in favor of comfort. All my shoes are comfortable, look great, and get gushing comments wherever I go. No need for following a silly trend when where you came from is spectacular. Stay local, ya? A great shoe to complement my other Olukai shoes and slippers. However, once again the price seems too high. If I had not been given a big discount and free shipping for making a design suggestion on the tennis shoe line, I could not have afforded these.

Right out of box they fit perfectly. I do have a wide foot so I was concerned they would be tight but fit is right on. I will be buying other colors. Only negative thing, which isnt really negative, is they are heavy due to thick sole.

These are super comfortable slip-on shoes. They are stylish enough to go biz-casual, yet they can also go to the beach.

Not a fisherman or I dont fish often lol I got these because they looked good, dont have laces to tie, stayed on my feet with no feeling of them slipping off, the grip on the boat deck was phenomenal, I stayed perched on the very front casting reeling catching a lot of Red in the Bay of Port OConner Texas

For sure a boat shoe! They are flexible and kept my feet cool throughout the day. They are not for walking long distances as they made my feet sore when I wore them for longer distance. They have their place on the boat for me.
