These pants run one size small compared to other Prana pants and shorts, but once I sized up they fit perfectly. I have a curvy figure (28" waist and 43" hips) and the waistband does not gap at all in the back. They have a hidden drawstring inside the waistband, in addition to beltloops. They are a soft stretchy quickdry lightweight fabric with breathable lining inside the pockets. There is a generous pocket on the leg, large enough for a large phone. Back pockets zip shut, and side pockets lay flat without gapping. The knees are articulated and the hem snaps up into an ankle length/highwater look (not a capri) in an unusual way: if you fold the bottom up three times it snaps up on both sides. I am 5'9" and the size tall is generously tall when unrolled. Overall they are flattering on, although not as slim a fit in the leg as shown in the photo. The evergreen is slightly olive, not a pine green, but it's a pleasant color, more green than brown.

I love these pants. Before purchasing them, I went to my local REI to try on them and several other styles. Good thing, before I usually would take a size 10, but they were a little baggy..the store didn't have a size 8. Went home and ordered the 8 petite (I'm 5'2") from Zappos. As usual, arrived quickly. I am very pleased with this purchase, and Zappos unrivaled service.

I had high expectations for these pants as i love the Halle but wanted to change up the rear pocket look and these fit that need. But these are not as nice as the Halle. Thinner material and overall quality is poor. This pant has this V shaped material stitched in by the side pockets and it puckers, looks bad. I returned. As for sizing I'm a 00 in Halle, 2 in Alana.
