My daughter is 10 years old and is autistic. This is a perfect sneaker since she does not know yet how to tie her shoes. In addition, we recently took her to a Podiatrist and the doctor recommended orthotics since she is so stiff when she walks and is flat footed. She highly recommended New Balance for kids and said they offer the best support. My daughter is a size 13.5 but I purchased a 1.5 to be able to fit the orthotics and it was perfect. She loved them and has room to grow. The Boa Fit System on the side is coolest and makes it so easy to fasten. I might just order a larger size so she has a backup when she is ready to out grow them.

My daughter loves these sneakers. They make wearing no laces fun, and who wants to deal with laces? Comfortable and pretty.

These were the one of two different styles of shoes I bought for my daughter for this school year. It actually looks like I may have to buy her a size up because she had a growth spurt with her feet! The ones I bought, like these ones are just great! I have no complaints and my daughter looks so cool in them and she loves the way you tighten the shoe on the side. GREAT purchase!!!

These are great for our 7 year old daughter who has long and narrow feet! She loves the cool way it can be adjusted and how she doesn’t need to worry about that inner piece that always needs to be pulled up and straightened (the tongue?) And she loves the colors!

The style is perfect and the BOA system is so easy to use. However, maybe my little one’s feet were slimmer than average, we tried two sizes and the heel still slipped off while walking (the lace was closed right). We couldn’t order any size further down coz then the length of the feet wouldn’t fit. Also, we found the material of the sneaker a bit thinner than we wanted, making it less snug to the feet. We really wish we could fit them.
