it was really wide but not long enough. my toes was hitting the front. I wear size 11 and I think that was too short

These shoes my wide feet, but the insole is too hard. In addition, I wasn't happy with the white trim around the bottom, couldn't see keeping it clean during a New York winter

Comfy right out of the box. (Birks comfy, not sneaker comfy) High quality leather. I sense the arch support, but not sure if they are as supportive as Birkenstocks sandals for an entire day of sight seeing or standing on your feet? Possibly, though! The style isn't for me, but might be for others. Cute, but I prefer a little contrast to all white, and the wide profile (even in a narrow) and even wider toe box looked disproportionate to my small foot.

I usually wear a 39 but I thought I needed size up on a lace up shoe. I went up to a size 40 and it was too small.

I have been wanting some simple style white "tennis shoes". They are reasonably comfortable but need a bit of molding on the insole by my foot. I have chronic ball-of-foot pain so I always look for a wide toebox. It's not the prettiest look but these shoes are a great compromise. I plan to buy a Birkenstock soft footbed insole to put in these shoes for more cushioning.

Returning only because they're not quite the style I'm going for. I'm tempted to keep them because they are insanely comfortable, but a little too "fuddy duddy" for what I want. I'm a slightly narrow 8-8.5, and the 39 was a perfect fit.

These definitely are true to my normal Birkenstock size. I wear a 36N in Birkenstock, & wondered if it would be long enough or wide enough in the toe area, & they are. I ordered the Bend sneaker (black leather) because I wanted a pair of comfortable & supportive pair of closed toe shoes for walking asphalt paved trails & cement sidewalks in the neighborhood. They definitely don’t have as much arch support as my traditional Arizona & Sydney sandals, since the footbed isn’t identical & there isn’t a toe bar (I really miss the toe bar in closed toe shoes), but the removable footbed has a similar, but lesser, arch support & heel cup. Overall, they are comfortable for running errands & moderate walking for exercise, but not as much support as a hiking shoe for longer & more strenuous walks. The black leather is very nice & soft, conforming to your feet well, & nothing scratchy or uncomfortable in the lining. If you wear & like Birkenstocks, I think you’ll be happy with this shoe.

Shoes arrived in box with no tissue paper wrapping and the tag was torn off the string. The blue box and all the rubbing left blue stains on the white soles. Had to scrub my new shoes. Slightly dirty sole as well. Used shoes. Again. Needed the shoes for a trip so no time to return them. Disappointed that I can't trust Zappos to send me new shoes.

I loved these sneakers. I really want a pair. However, the shoes had been worn, had a few scuffs. I should know better....this has happened before when it says "only 1 left!" It's usually because it was a return. They seemed like they were going to slip in the heel, plus the wear marks, so I returned them. Maybe I will try again....

Loved the comfort of the shoe however it was a very heavy shoe and looked overly large.

I have other Birkenstock sandals, and these shoes were much tighter. Granted, all Birkenstocks need to be broken in, but these were so uncomfortably tight I had to take them off. Maybe because it was a closed toe shoe. If I got a bigger size, the arch would not sit in the right place on my foot. So I returned them.

I really wanted to love these, I bought them in white and black and wore the white ones around my house first. While they were comfortable, my feet were hot! I have been on the hunt and have tried on over 20 pairs of white sneakers. These were great, but the search continues. Returned.

I thought they were a traditional fit across the front, but were surprised to see the fit that was longer in the big toe area and decreased to the small toe. Don't know what you call that...nature cut?, comfort? tree hugger? In any case, my foot does not usually work in that shape. However, after wearing them for a few days, they seem to adjust. There is also an interesting sole in the shoe made of cork. The sole seemed to adjust to the contour of my foot and is very comfortable. I will keep these because of the way they adjusted. Very stylish, Still wish I had the traditonal front.

These are so cute but even after measuring my feet for their weird sizing when I put them on they were a little too small. My big toe hit the end with really thin socks on so they went back. Too expensive to keep for only occasional wears in hope they would break in and be more comfortable.

The left shoe squeaks horribly when I’m walking. It’s truly embarrassing walking down the hallway at my job because it’s so loud and sounds like those toddler shoes that are made to squeak. It’s not the bottom of the shoe, it’s from something inside the heel.

Did not feel right

These are cute and comfortable - in a Birkenstock way at least: they have a very firm hard sole. The sole isn’t cushiony - so after awhile my heel began to hurt. More just solid. Still, the width was great for my wider feet And they became my go to walking shoes. Main issue: I really loved these as go to but the sole fell apart within three months. Short for the price. The shoe is intact but now if the ground is wet they instantly soak all the water up straight through the sole of the shoe through all the places the rubber already wore out or cracked. Disappointed - shoes at this price point usually last a year or more for me. But the rubber already broke down.

Per other reviewers, I ordered my usual Birk size. However, they felt extremely uncomfortable as soon as I put them on. My toes felt like they were pushing into the ends of the shoes and the arch in the insole pushed at my foot painfully. They are super cute and I wish they’d fit better. With the fit issues, not sure if going up a size would help.

Very cute shoes that didn't work for me. I need the arch area to be a bit wider or have more give. The arch felt like a sharp lump to me. The Bend is not as stiff as Birkenstock sandals (they bend!). I have nearly flat feet: I think if you have regular arches these would be comfortable. I had some trouble getting the right size. 40 was a bit short, but 41 was a little sloppy feeling (too large). So sizing is difficult in this style for me. To compare, I wear size 40 Birkenstock EVA sandals, Size 10 in Brooks Dyad and size 9.5 in Teva FI. Hope that helps.

I was not able to wear socks with this shoe. No matter a full calf or a low cut sock. Walking pulled my sock in. very disappointed, because the shoe is a good looking shoe. but overall not comfortable, especially without socks.

My toe was touching and it was not comfortable.

Very stiff material and the arch did not line up my own arch.

Did not care for the odd toe of the tennis shoe

I wear Birkenstocks and love the sandals. I really wanted to like these shoes. They are high quality and with a minimalist design. Exactly the style I've been looking for, but they felt small. And I know that leather stretches, but the toe box felt very very tight. My toes could not wiggle at all. I will try to go up a size and see how they fit.

The shoe's toe area is very square and looks like an orthopedic sneaker - yuck.
