I have been using this for running, hiking, and backpacking. I have also the short sleeve version of this that I use for running and other high output activities in warmer weather. I got this as I needed something that added some warmth. I like the height of the neck and zipper as these allow me to regulate my temperature as I run. It wicks sweat is breathable and adds needed warmth on colder days.

I own 3 pieces and it's my goto backpacking/hiking shirt. Protects from the sun, wicks sweat off the body, light and comfortable in hot conditions, dries quickly, performs and does its job perfectly. I prefer the zipper because it's an additional option to ventilate when I'm hot.

Easily my go-to shirt for running in cooler weather. Feels great, looks sharp, dries incredibly fast and super versatile. I am starting to get quite the collection with all of the colors I am acquiring ... but you can wear this item as an everyday casual shirt. I'm right at 6 feet, weighing about 170 and a medium fits perfectly.

I bought this shirt recently for a trip to the Dolomites in Italy. I wanted something light and packable, but efficient if the weather changed. It did; the first snow came and I put on this shirt and a fleece top over it, and it kept me warm all day while hiking. And it takes up no space in the bag while traveling and is featherweight. Nice fit as well; not too tight, yet tailored. Kudos!

Was more than impressed with this shirt when I got it home. It's light and well made as expected from all Arc'tryex products. I've worn it comfortably in mid 70 degree weather. I liked it so much, I bought another one in a different color.

Top quality product. Light, moisture wicking and designed as "fuller" cut without being overly big. The motus series run smaller and these are more true to size and super comfortable for around the house, outside or just about anywhere.

Does what it says on the tin. Very light weight and comfortable fabric, I forget I have it on sometimes it's that light. Also very breathable. It's the best fitting 1/4 zip top/fleece I've bought. I took size small, so 1 size down from my normal and it fits perfect all over. Highly recommend.

Bought the XL and for my 6'3" body this a perfect fit. I've worn this under an XL Remige Hoody and am very pleased with this combination for warmth and breathability while alpine skiing. Can't wait to get on my mountain bike and try this gear. Wish I bought an extra!

The Cormac line of Arc'teryx shirts are great, long and short sleeves! They are lightweight, moisture wicking, breathable, quick drying and they feel more cotton-like (not polyester). I've used this for XC Skiing so far and it's amazing for less cold days as a base layer. I'll use this for other high output activities year round.

Just love the Cormac. This is my second one. You can feel the warmth reflected back when you put it on. Great for cool evenings in the summer or when it gets a little breezy. excellent choice for a cool summer run. wicking and drying are great just as you would expect.

For me, this Cormac shirt exactly meets the design intent described by Arcteryx: "Designed for trail running, but offering a versatility that frees it to cross over to other high-output activities, the Cormac Zip Neck delivers comfort and climate control on the move. The lightweight Ostria fabric provides sun protection, performance stretch and comfort next to the skin. The gridded construction helps speed moisture transfer. Long sleeves provide sun protection and add some warmth, and the deep V-neck can be quickly unzipped to dump heat." Regarding the versatility aspect, in addition to high-output activities, the Cormac can certainly also be used for low to medium output activities such as easy hiking and casual wear. The breathability of this Cormac isn't on par with the Velox shirt (which is only available in short sleeve), but the breathability is still good enough for high-output activities. Oddly, I perceive the breathability of the zip neck long-sleeve version of the Cormac to be a bit better than the short-sleeve version, maybe because I use the long-sleeve in cooler weather, the sleeves help with wicking sweat, and the zip neck provides effective ability to quickly dump heat. I'm 6' and 150 pounds, and as with other Arcteryx tops, this Cormac fits me pretty much perfectly in size medium. I currently have three of these shirts, and will buy more if they come out with other appealing colors.

I live in a tropical climate and love this top to wear all day. It keeps me cool outside while shielding from the sum, and when I go into an air-conditioned space it allows the humidity to dissipate quickly. Inside, it is a comfortable top. I would recommend it.

I have now bought 3 of these. I swear a lot when the weather is hot/warm and I have been looking for something that would deal with this better than other products on the market. This is the best product I have found.
