My new favourite Arc'teryx pants! Very tappered fit, but not too tapered for climbing. The "tatsu" colour is so pretty. It is much more of a golden-green colour however, and it looks totally different than it does in the above photos, in a good way, the pants are about 2 or 3 shades lighter in person. Now for sizing. These pants will look different on everyone (curious to why the model with a 24 inch waist wearing a size 6?). The pants look a bit more fitted on me. I stuck with my normal size 2 and I am very happy with them. Technically I have a 27 1/2 inch waist and 37 inch hips but I have most success with size 2 so I ordered a 2. I have a quads, hamstrings and a bum, but the size two still fits me perfectly. I own the size 4 as well, but they are much too big at the waist. I have a muscular build, I am 130 lbs at 5'8. Somehow I have no trouble getting the size two on. And they are not so tight that they look like yoga pants! Also important to mention: not all Arcteryx pants work for me, but whenever I find a pair that works they really hold up for years. Hope this helps someone. :)

I wear these for work, travel, golfing, anything. They're light weight, comfortable, and dry quickly. The only thing I'd change was the length. I'd these were a bit longer they'd be perfect but tall sizes seem to be in short supply. I'm 5'10, 150 lbs, and purchased the size 8. I am usually between a size 6 or 8 with Arc pants but opted for the larger size.

I was looking for a comfortable pant for both hiking and walks around the neighborhood. These pants have exceeded my expectations in comfort, fit and durability. I also love how stylish they look. In particular the stretch allowed me to move and climb the trails and the zipper pockets kept my valuables safe and secure. The material wipes off easily to keep them looking clean. I bought them late in the summer and they were perfect for the windy fall days. I'm looking forward to using them as my travel pant as they were so comfortable to wear.

Quite happy with this purchase of these pants. They are lightweight and great for hiking but they also work for around town and travel. They remind me of the series pants without the cuff and felt like a similar fit.

I've been searching for some nice hiking/walking pants. Had trouble finding ones small enough, but the Arc'teryx 0 fits perfectly. Love the quality and style and I will buy more.

I am 5'4", 125 lbs with 29" waist and 40" hips. I got the size 12 pants and they are a comfortable fit. The pockets are nice and there are 5 of them. I like the zipper thigh pocket however it is not stiff enough to hold an iphone SE. I keep that in my regular top pocket or one of the back pockets. I bought this in the green originally and went back for a pair in black.

These pants are comfortable and move with you when hiking. They are super light and the water beads right off them! I would definitely recommend them. They fit true to size.

These are my new favorite pants - they fit perfectly. When I first tried them on I thought they might be too snug - I like room to move - the combination of the cut and the stretch in the fabric make them slimming while at the same time super comfy. The fabric is lightweight but at the same time durable - perfect for active wear. The tapered leg has just the right tapering. I'm very fussy about how things fit - these pants are simply amazing!!

I bought these for hiking and gardening pants. But I may just use them for everyday too. They are so comfortable and have and fit beautifully. The tapering gives them a nice fit and they are not bulky at all. Great movement and the fabric is so flexible. Gardening there is lots of bending and shifting and the material moves with you. The o lot thing it's missing are belt loops... but other than that they are awesome!

I've been looking for a pair of hiking pants that are 1) black, 2) skinny leg, and 3) fits my waist 4) fits my thighs. #1 is easy but having #2, #3, and #4 at the same time are difficult. I find that most pants in the skinny leg style fit tighter which means little room for error between the waist and thigh fit and a size that fits my thighs is too big for my waist and vice versa. I'm 5'8", 145-150 lbs, athletic build, and I purchased the size 6 (regular length). These fit my waist well (surprisingly, because there's no adjustment straps/ties or anything, just a slightly stretchy waist area with a button) and they are pretty slim through my thighs but they don't squeeze! The only thing that could make this better is if the bottom leg was slightly narrower. I would say that these pants are inbetween a straight and skinny leg but it doesn't look bad and the fit is the best I've gotten so far so I'll take it! I tried on the Sabria, which has a skinny/tight fit, in a size 6 and the waist fit (surprising, since the reviews for that says it fits small), but they were way too tight on my thighs. In comparison to the Sabria, these have a slightly looser fit throughout the leg. The waist should fit true to size on both. When standing straight, the bottom of the pants hit my ankle bone which works well for me but if you had longer legs, they might be too short. The regular pockets on the front as well as the side mid-leg pocket on the right leg fits my iPhone X (in a normal thickness case) while the Sabria's side pocket definitely did not. The material is light, thin, has a cool feel to it, and seems very quick drying (definitely a warm weather hiking pants, would need a base layer under for winter) I haven't worn it on a hike yet so I can't comment further other than the fit and initial impressions of the material.

I am a big fan of these pants, I was looking for something similar to the Serres pants (loved those). These are a great light but durable pant that have been great on hikes and travelling. I bought my usual size 6 and they fit great, liking the slightly slimmer leg.

I bought the Alroy pant in the cloud color approx 2 months ago. They fit great, love the pant, so I ordered another pair in the color black. Just received them today. Put the black pair on and it felt much tighter in the waist than the cloud pair. Laid them out and compared the two pants, come to find out the black pair is 1" smaller in the waist, both are size 8. I can wear the tighter pair, but not as comfortable, so will return them tomorrow. I sure wish the sizes were consistent, very disappointed as I really like this paint.

Great pants - comfortable, almost enough pockets / depth of pockets for long hikes. The only issue is the lack of ability to tighten up the waist or has loops to use a belt. Consequently, they slide down as the hiking day progresses and with the use of a backpack. A smaller size would then likely be too tight in the legs.

Tapered but not clingy. Just the right length. I'm 5'4" with a smaller hip size, a wider waist, average thighs and got a 10. Usually 8 or 10 in pant size. I think it's true to size, but can't tell because of the garter at the back. It fits me, I can bend without showing crack of my bum which a lot of people in their 30s would appreciate. I have a feeling if I would have been curvier, it would not be so flattering. I work in multiple manufacturing facilities (corporate setting) and it's not apparent to a lot of people that this isn't dress pants when paired with uniform polo shirts. The zippered side leg pocket is adequate enough for small note pad, pen, and note 21 phone. I climb stairs and ladders (manufacturing setting) without a problem. Typically wear 511 Tactical.

I had high expectations for these pants as I love the Palisade, but these pants did not live up. The fabric is great for long hikes, but the waist either needs belt loops or a some closure that be tightened. I bought the 6 as the 4 was too tight in hip area. These are not one size fits true. On a long hike, I had to constantly pull them up.

These pants are comfy and the material is excellent - fast drying, somewhat stretchy, light/breathable but strong/durable, they don't make that annoying crinkle/swish sound as you walk, fit is great, I love the tapered leg, I love that there is a pure black option. There are two main flaws I found. First: there should be a thigh pocket on the left side - there is only one secure zippered pocket, and with a phone in it, there is no other secure pocket. Having the exact same pocket (exact same because it is perfect) on the left thigh would be way more useful/functional/versatile for pants that aim to be used for hiking and outdoor adventures. Second: there are no belt loops so I have to pull them up and readjust them all the time. Unless you are the exact perfect match for the measurement size of the waistband, they fall down and there is no way to adjust them. The back of the waistband is stretchy (which is awesome), but the front has a button/fly like regular trousers so corresponding belt loops would just make sense. Overall, they're good pants but just a few additional simple features would make these absolutely perfect.
