I bought these for backpacking trips last week on the Teton Crest Trail and Wind River Range. These worked out very well for the trip. I love that these pants fit well. They are comfortable and functional for hiking but the fit and appearance make them suitable for urban or casual wear as well. The stench fabric is nice too. The pockets are just right as well. I like that these have no rear pockets as I never use these anyway. I like that the zippered thigh pocket is offset to the side so that its contents are not bouncing off your leg as you walk. This pocket works well for storing a phone. I normally wear a 29Wx30L. Since that size is not available, I found the 28S to fit best for me.

This is an excellent lightweight pants for hiking in hot weather. It is extreme breathable and dry quickly. Beyond my expectation, its fabric has effective DWR coating which works well. The fabric itself absorbs very little water.

Replaced my well worn, trusted hiking pants after probably too many years. Delighted with my new ones! Find myself wearing them all the time. I have a shorter leg length and they fit well. The belt design is excellent and keeps them sited exactly where they need to be.

This is my first Arc'teryx pant and after reading the reviews I decided to go with a size up, and I'm glad I did. I'm about 5 foot 8 inches tall, 180 lbs. and I would normally wear a men's size 32 x 30, however I decided to go with the 34 waist with these and they fit perfectly around my waist and legs. I am not a fan of slim fit pants but these ended up fitting and feeling perfect. Overall minimal design and lightweight, comfortable for hiking and surprisingly durable despite being thin and stretchy.

These are now my go-to pants for any outdoor activity. They are a slimmer fit than I'm used to but it's surprisingly very comfortable. They stretch in all the right places so they move however I want them to. I DEFINITELY recommend these to anyone seeking a good pair of hiking pants that are very versatile for any number of outdoor activities.

Great pants, my usual 32/32 fit like a dream. Fabric is durable and breathable and wind resistant which I like a lot. Only time the pants are not up to the task is in hot humid temps. The synthetic cloth can feel a little oooky against sweaty skin. Also just a suggestion that would make these pants EVEN BETTER would be adding bootlace gaiter clips like on the Gamma AR. Gaiter clips are my favorite feature on Arc'teryx pants, wish there were more with them. Would really solidify Lefroy as a bushwhacking pant.

I've been using these pants for hiking at temps above about 55 F, and I've been very happy with them for that purpose. The pants perform as advertised - when I'm on the trail, I don't notice the pants. They're light and breathable, and they have enough stretch to not feel stiff while moving. The only thing I'd modify is providing a bit more room vertically in the crotch. I'd also like to see a left thigh pocket added to match the one on the right, but this is a minor want rather than a need. Unlike a few reviewers, I very much like the integrated belt. An added bonus is that the Labyrinth color is beautiful. I plan to buy another pair of these pants, and will have to make an effort to resist buying the same color again!

I wore these to do the Milford, Routeburn, Heaphy and Abel Tasman tracks in NZ. They are everything they are advertised to be. I was cool in the summer sun when I wore them for sun protection, they are stretchy, durable, light and comfortable. After 230km of hiking they don't have a mark on them. I wore them every day. The even managed my stretching routine after the long days. I go them wet, they dried fast. I would hesitate to ever use another hiking pant.

These fit true to size as per the waist and hem on a decent pair of jeans. They are light, they are not-baggy but have a great stretch. I am 5'11, 100kg, have cyclists legs, and have more belly than I should. I bought a 36 waist. I use them for walking and hiking and they are comfortable for hours of rambling in 5-10 degree C windy, drizzly Irish Autumn.

Like the Lefroy Shorts, just as pants! Here is what I think about the shorts and it is directly transferral to the pants. Simply the best short ever. I ordered one, read a review about a guy buying one in every color because he simply loved them. I had a silent smile on my face because I knew I would do the exact same thing. And guess what, a week later I did. Oh Boy these are good. Thank you Arcteryx for making so great products. They are also available in a long version, I have implemented them as "the pants" in my company's wardrobe.

Great all around summer pants for hiking and climbing. They can take a beating and have the right functions for summer activities. My only issue is they need to be sized up just a touch. My normal 32/32 is on the tight side, and the pockets aren't fully functional as a result. Also, what is with this trend of no belt loops on pants? I get you have the built in belt, but how are you supposed to carry your bear spray? It's bad practice to have it on your backpack where it's out of reach and can hit rocks when you put your bag down. The prauna zions have both the belt and loops to give you the option.

Never bought this brand before and not too well known in the UK I believe. I have to say they are great, I am a 30" sometimes 32" waist and short legs so was great to be able to buy a short leg unlike many other brands; I settled for the 30" and they are a great fit, there is some movement in the waist due to the good quality stretch material. They are lightweight and I like the waistband and concealed belt. They hug the body shape but do not cling to the body. Really impressed.

This was my first ever Arc'teryx product and I must say I could not have chosen a better item. These pants are perfectly designed with an exceptional fit, great thermal regulation and impeccable quality. In the 4 months since I purchased them, my Lefroy pants have travelled with me around the world and they were just as ideal for summer weather in Japan as they were for chilly and damp fall days exploring Rocky Mountain glaciers.

WHO: I'm 5'10" 170lbs, 31" waist 32" inseam, Athletic build, living in the Southeast of the US with relatively mild winters, but I travel a lot. I'm kind of a gear-head and all my pants, even the ones I wear to work, can be described as tactical. I got a size 32 in these and I've had them just over a year. WHAT: In a word, stretchy. This is a technical pant that you can wear casually or for travel. It's great in warm climates and can stand up to heavy use like tough hiking scrambles or climbing. The great cut and stretchy material of these pants moves with you. WHEN: For where I live these are year round pants on all but the coldest winter days. They've become my go-to pants for cooler weather activities. And they're always in my bag when I'm on the road. WHERE: Hiking, traveling, casual Fridays at work, pretty much anything active. WHY: They're the funnest pants I own. I even have the shorts version. STYLE: If you like the look of a technical pant then you'll love these just as much as I do. They have a clean look that can be worn casually but stand out enough that you can tell these aren't just a normal pair of pants. FUNCTION: All the technical stuff: gusseted crotch, articulated knees, quick drying, water resistant and durable. Nothing is unnecessary on these, there's no belt loops and only 3 pockets (none in the back, one zippered right thigh). There is a built-in belt that works well while wearing the pants but is not so good in my dryer. The belt (on both the pants and shorts) has gotten caught several times and twisted-up the whole load. Both of my buckles are bent slightly, not sure if it's just my dryer but I've had to start air drying these. 9 out of 10 A great fit that doesn't shrink, a cool material that moves and stretches with you, just a little improvement on the belt buckle and they'd be perfect.

I don't like to write long reviews so here is the short an sweet version: They are extremely comfortable, lightweight, breathable pants that should last for years, even with some abuse. I primarily use them for sport climbing but also do quite a bit of backpacking with them. Once they are put on, they are the last thing you'll be thinking about. Feel free to do whatever activity it is you want to do and rest assured, the pants will stand up to the task while keeping comfort to a maximum and simultaneously allowing for maximum articulation. My only complaint is the same as I have with quite a few of Arc'teryxs' pants: They do not have back pockets or have an inadequate amount of pockets. In this case, no back pockets nor a left side cargo pocket.

I own the palisade, the gamma lt and the lefroy. I would say that the lefroy Pant sets the new benchmark for the do-all pant for me. The fabric feels more durable than both the palisade (which is very thin) and the gamma lt. It moves well and after 10 days of summer hiking in the Dolomites, it proved to be both very durable and breathable. My favourite part about the lefroy is the fit. The gamma lt and lots of arcteryx pants traditionally have a slight baggy fit for me (28 inch waist and lean), but the lefroy fits perfectly. So even though the gamma lt costs more, I would recommend the lefroy more. Thanks for bringing the improved trim fit to your pants and xs sizes for shirts arcteryx!

Perfect for our increasingly stifling summers! It gets wicked humid in Maine and these breathable pants are the perfect solution. The fit is perfect with no excess baggy material. Whenever it rains the DWR works its magic. Only thing I would change is adding belt loops instead of the attached belt.

Awesome pants, great durable fabric, practical pockets (deeper than the stratia), excellent trim fit (will be too tight for those with larger thighs) , stretches for climbing. Very breathable and comfortable - so good for climbs in warm weather, or runs- but not great for cool or cold unless you are constantly moving. I have the dark magnet and light coade. They look somewhat military which I like. My new default pants. The only small thing I don't agree with is the belt, which adds nothing, is a bit fussy and detracts from the usability. A strong 5/5

Amazing fabric and feel great. Personally I prefer looser fit so I will buy 2 sizes above for hiking and proper size for hot days in town. Unfortunately, for a trouser you are supposed to wear in summer under the sunshine, why is there only dark color fabric available? They absorb more of the sun's heat and this design fault works against the quality of the fabric. Fix the color issue and then those pants will be peerless.

I bought these since I wanted a more elegant and light type of pant I could wear everyday, formal events, nights out and traveling. They are insanely great looking, material feels very nice, comfortable, light and easy to adjust belt and pockets are simple and useful. They are quite great fitting, although a straight leg is always a disaster, and the bottom opening is just too wide. They are much better in the waist, crotch area and the general cut for my size than other Arc pants, which usually fit terrible (too wide, big).

I've had these pants for about 2 months now, and they have become a staple for things I do outdoors. They are super stretchy and lightweight. Great for climbing and warmer weather hiking for sure. The only downside is that they do not have a back pocket which means they aren't great for every day use since I don't like putting my wallet in the front pocket. This is never an issue when I'm in the field since I carry that stuff in my backpack, but it is enough for me to give these four stars instead of 5. I was initially unsure weather I would like the belt, but I barely notice it. I thought the webbing might feel cumbersome, but it hasn't impacted me at all. These are a great quick dry pant and super breathable for warmer weather, but I've also worn them climbing in cooler weather, and they did offer some reasonable protection from the cold. Finally I was a little worried about the inseam length. 32 tends to be a little short on me, but my waist size isn't offered in the longer length. The inseam is totally fine. I'm 182cm tall
