I would really like to see these pants done as a high rise jogger style. I find I don't wear them enough because the aesthetic doesn't suit me very much in a straight leg style. Practical but not in love. I find other women I've talked to avoid this pant for the same reason

Loved the original release of these Konseal pants, the length and fit was perfect. the things I loved were the tapering from below the knees stopped excess material flapping about, and the fact that Arcteryx released it in 3 different lengths meant the short length was perfect for me. These fit completely different, seemingly a lot wider around the thighs and through the bottom of the legs which is really disappointing. They also now only come in 1 (regular) length and so rolling them up several times would mean bunching up extra weight around the ankles - not ideal or flattering. They're also not as tapered (maybe because of the length). The material has improved, the first iteration still collects so much lint from washing which is a bit of a nightmare, however these are a blend of cotton which probably adds to the looseness and lack of structure in the pant. I've returned my pair of these for these reasons, hopefully the next version of these will come in a shorter length and fit closer to the originals.

Bought a pair Konseal pants, hoping it'll be good for bouldering indoors. Pants are not flexible enough in the crotch area, which in my opinion, is a must for climbing pants. As a result, there's restriction when heel hooking or bringing my toes up to where my hands are. Returned these, and bought an extra pair of Beta LT's, which are ultra flexible and durable.

Bought these about 7 months ago. I loved them so much it was hard to ever thihnk about wearing a diffrent pair of pants. I bought another pair because i lvoed them. I could wear them out in the city and look professional and wear them climbing and functioned great. Although my pants ripped in the leg and to this day I dont know how it happened. i wore them maybe 5 times bouldering and the rest in the city doing errands. the pants are great but it made me concern after they ripped as i thought these were designed for climbing and they ripped after a few uses. Great pants But i wonder about the material.

I'd like to see this offered in a slightly heavier fabric but still cotton and nylon. Sized for short (they offer reg and tall so why not short?)

These pants are great for climbing (mostly). They are quite comfortable while moving, and the snug fit around the legs is a wise move for climbing without excess material flopping around your ankles. I also like how Arc'Teryx has reintroduced the integrated adjustable belt - it's a step up from the older design in the Pemberton pants, more lightweight and streamlined. The one major flaw, however, is that the zippered pocket was placed in a ridiculous location for a climbing pant - when fully closed, the bulky zipper lies underneath the leg loop of most climbing harnesses (I've tried several). When weighting the harness, the zipper cuts into the leg and is really uncomfortable. I've gotten around this issue by removing the zipper pull tab and leaving the remaining zipper pulled halfway down so that the pocket is partially open. In this way, the zipper lies below the leg loop. I'm surprised no one tested these climbing pants with a harness during the design phase!!!

The fit of theses pants is perfect on me, slim cut from waist to cuff but are in no way restricting. They look great on and off the rock and the harness accessible cell phone pocket hides well in the outer leg seam. Even though the cell phone pocket hides well but isn't as practical as other pants I have owned, overall Id say it's average. The major problem I have with these pants is the materials durability and longevity. I think they are too thin for a an outdoor climbing pant. After only a few outings I already have a small hole in the seat of the pants and can see the material wearing thin in the knees. I would love to see theses in a more durable abrasion resistant fabric that sacrifices some breathability. For climbing and everyday use I can't see these lasting more than a few months to maybe a summer season where as other climbing pants with stronger fabrics last me years.

Poor side pocket placement when wearing a harness and already getting holes in the seat after light use. Needs some serious re-engineering.

I bought this pants and it's almost unwearable only three month after. The fabric is really not of good quality. Several holes appeared on the top of the thigh and a pocket is totally torned off at the back of the pants. The fit is great but don't expect it to last more than a season. I'm a climbing guide,I've been buying Arc'teryx products for the last 20 years and the product quality has drastically deteriorated. I had a issu with a Gore-Tex jacket last year and these pants are probably the last product I'll buy from Arc'teryx. I don't recommend these pants.

I'm 6', 140# and these pants were barely long enough to start with. After washing them twice they have shrunk and now the cuff is well above my ankle, really frustrating. I bought two pair and both have done this
