The laces are 10-15 inches way too long. Have to double and triple knot them.

Stable walking shoe.

Almost 70 so not a runner. I do walk 35 plus miles a week though. Shoes fit great and feel extremely comfortable. Cushioning is excellent also. Would highly recommend.

Alright, first off, I hate the way these look. Their absolutely huge looking, the sole is so thick my coworkers laughed that I was 3 inches taller. But... after experiencing knee pain for 5 months that I've refused to see a doctor over due to my own stubbornness, 1 work day in these and I have zero knee pain at the end of my shift. I'm sold. I work on a concrete floor 10 hours a day, I've tried braces, creams, over the counter pain killers. These shoes after 1 day did more for me than any of that. I'm sold, never change these shoes. I'll be buying a second pair next paycheck.

I have a pair for working in the yard. Another for work and another for casual wear.

Good Quality

I purchased these shoes for my brother-in-law 's Birthday and he loved them! He wears them to workout and for hikes. He said no other shoe gives him the support and balance like these.

Have a problem with over pronation, have tried other shoes, but nothing seemed to work. Tried these, kind of expensive, and they worked quite well. Haven't had a problem with my knees or legs hurting. Seems like a real solid shoe.

I have back issues and have nerve damage down one leg. I find the Gaviota's to be the best shoe for me; perfect mix of stability and cushion. I have tried many other HOKAs, but keep coming back to the Gaviota's. I am also a big fan of the hook of fabic on the back, makes the shoe much easier to get on for me.

Very comfortable and lightweight shoes... I use mine for fast walking 3.5 - 5.5 miles 3Xs a week

I love the softness of this shoe, it's like walking on spring cushion. I have had one for five years and I just bought another one. It's the best I've ever used for knee support. I had a right knee replacement a year and a half ago and now I can't jog comfortably in these shoes. I have given my sister a pair since she had bilateral knee replacement and given a pair to my son to help him from developing and knee problems.

My Special needs son has so many problems with his feet, stance and ability to wall with his feet pointing forward without losing his balance. Be has a very flat foot. The Orthopedic Doctor recommended we try Hoka shoes. I was hesitant as they seem kind of pricy. But my son loves them' he feels more secure in his stance, they don't hurt his feet and he is happy. Best money I have ever spent. Recommending them to all friends and family. My mother has Plantar Fasciitis and she could use these to help her. Thanks Hoka from your newest Hoka Family.
