Wow! I love these! They are much cuter than I thought they would be, and you just can’t beat the comfort of Birkenstocks. Unlike some Birkenstocks, these don’t look clunky at all. They slip on and off easily, and feel better that bare feet due to the excellent arch support. A dream from the first wearing.

Loved these so much I’m going to get another pair! I have flat feet and was told by my podiatrist to only wear shoes with good support. Birkenstock is know for good support. I have a pair of sandals I love and was happy to find this more versatile shoe. It is just simply perfect! Great support and great style! I hope they don’t stop making this design.

Beautiful, easy to slip on and off, and comfortable. I bought these to wear as house slippers, and once they were broken in a bit, they have been lovely to walk around in, and make standing to do chores easy and comfortable.

I'm normally a 40 regular in Arizona. These felt too short, too narrow, and way too tight. I could get them on, but the sole of the right foot threw my balance off, like it was higher in the back right corner for some reason. I don't have any luck with Birkenstocks closed toe shoes.

Who knew Birkenstock would design such a cute little flat! The Whale Gray Nubuck is such a beautiful shoe. I have five pair of Birkenstocks and have always worn the 38, but because this shoe is sold in *narrow*, the 38 was too short. My toes bumped right up against the front of the shoe. The style, design and comfort are so great that I exchanged them for a 39, and the fit is perfect! thank you, Zappos!

I have been dealing with heel pain in one of my feet and Birkenstock sandals seem to feel the best… I work as a Wedding vendor and I’m on my feet for multiple hours multiple days a week. When I found this closed-toed Birkenstock shoe I thought I would give it a try. Right out of the box it has an “older woman” look… but, now I’ve worn them multiple days in a row for 10+ hours at a time and I am no longer a judgment of the looks, The comfort and support is fantastic! If you were on your feet for many hours at a time and you already like Birkenstocks I would highly recommend the shoe. I am normally an 8.5 (39Birk)-I ordered that in 40Birk and the size is perfect.

I was excited to receive these shoes. They are so so so cute on and look great with my jeans. I's sure they will look as good with dresses and skirts. They feel a bit tight because I usually wear mediums and these are narrow, but are plenty comfortable. There is one problem that I am trying to walk through. The left shoe hits on the big knuckle of my big toe and is causing some discomfort I am wearing them in the house in hopes of eliminating that with a little walking time. The verdict of whether I return or not is still out.

Fits true to size. These shoes fit like a glove and they are a fun shoe to wear with jeans. Love them. The suede is very nice. Worth the price.

I really wanted these to work but had to send them back. The stretchy straps on top pinched and made my feet feel like they were squished inside.

Note that this shoe *only* comes in narrow. The style, color and comfort are fantastic! However, in a closed toe Birkenstock shoe, what “normally” fits in all the sandals, was too short in this shoe. I have exchanged the 38 for the 39, and if you don’t see an update, then know that the plan worked! When you are on your feet all day, sometimes you need some room to wiggle!

I was really excited to see this narrow shoe from Birkenstock - so much that I ordered it in both a 40 (equivalent to my 9.5 shoe size) and 41, which my Birkenstock sandals are. I didn't think they were nearly as cute as people said, but more importantly, neither pair fit. The 41 was too big; in the 40 the strap end hit right on my bunion, and the left shoe, although not too big, slipped on the heel. Returning these.

I wear a 10 1/2 narrow, and had good luck with another Birkenstock Mary Jane style, but this was too wide for me from the instep back to the heels, since I have a nearly normal instep width, but narrow heels. Overall, it was just too big and wide for me. Cute style, though!

The box said 41 but the shoes were 40.
