Love these sandals! My old Birkenstock’s are starting to fall apart (I’ve had them nearly 15 years!) and I’m so glad I found a vegan pair! They’re comfortable, super cute, & fit like a glove, just as you’d expect.

I can't get over how amazing these shoes are! We don't wear shoes in our home, and I was tired of wearing poor quality shoes or just socks around the house, so I invested in my first pair of Birkenstocks. I don't wear leather, so I ordered the vegan version. I tend to have a narrow foot, and had to order the regular width size, which I was a little concerned would be too wide. But it turns out, they fit perfect! I was also worried the toe strap would be uncomfortable, but nope- it's like they were made for my feet! I generally wear a 7.5 in shoes (sometimes an 8) and the 38 fit me perfectly. These are a great shoe to be able to slide on and off around the house, and gives me great arch support. I swear my back already hurts less, after a day in wearing these. Big fan. I will definitely be ordering another pair to wear outside of the house.

I’ve never owned a pair of Birkenstock’s before and have wanted to for years. The last few years I’ve held out because I am vegan and was waiting for their line to expand. I’m so happy I did because these are so great. Straps and foot bed are insanely comfortable. I love them.

Had to return these. The upper fabric has quite sharp edges which irritated my toes.

I am usually a women's 9.5 but order my usual open toe Birkenstock size 38 (US women 7-7.5) in these and they fit perfectly! They are SO comfy and smooth feeling. I have very narrow thin feet. Bought these to replace a pair I bought 3 years ago and wore out after daily wear (the strap broke). Was pleasantly surprised by how lux they feel when new!

Very comfortable from the start. Love the Mayari style and this was a fun print.

I usually wear a 40 in this shoe, but have had 41s. Because of a previous review, I went with the 41. I love Mayari prints, but haven’t found any in some time. Happy to run across this. Have not worn them yet, and have never had the vegan, so cannot really talk comfort, but feel good at first try-on.

I love the vegan style! I am normally a 38 N in birks, but went with a 38 regular in these (translates to a 7-7.5) and they are more comfy than the leather and suede version in my opinion. I am a size 8 in sandals normally, 8.5-9 in running shoes for sizing reference. The black straps are matte with rustic silver buckles. I will be ordering more of these styles— plus cruelty free!

This is my first pair of Birkenstock shoes and I expect to purchase more. I used Zappo's size conversion tool and it accurately suggested the size I needed. It took a couple of days to break in the shoes and adjust the straps as needed, but these are now my go-to pair. I have long toes and had to adjust the straps a couple of times until my foot was positioned comfortably, so I'd just encourage other purchasers to try out different strap positions until you get your fit.

Fit and size were great. I have been wearing Birkenstocks for over 25 years. This is the first time I tried "vegan" and after try-on and taking a walk around my living room the feel was not right--the microfiber footbed felt abrasive and almost like sandpaper. I felt the edges of the shoe where the cork meets the microfiber and they felt razor sharp. I am very disappointed because the pattern is just perfect.

My only wish for this shoe is that they had paid more attention to matching the print on each shoe. I’m picky about things like that. No one else will notice though. They fit like every other Birkenstock I have. My feet are so spoiled to Birkenstock’s in the summer.

I love the sandals, but I wish the pattern design of the upper was more balanced. They are pretty different. I didn’t realize until I started wearing them. But the are cute and comfortable.

I just didn’t find them comfortable

I really wanted to like these vegan shoes, but that material that goes between my toes really bothered me.

Be specific about your likes and dislikes. How was the fit and size? What does the material feel like? How awesome (or not) do you feel wearing them?

I didn’t mean to order the vegan version. Not as comfortable as the original.

I own several pairs of the Mayari - in both oiled leather and Birko Flor. This is the first vegan pair of Birkenstocks I have tried. They appear to run smaller than the other Mayari sandals. While the upper was soft on the part touching the skin overall the straps were very stiff. I was bummed because I loved the pattern but the fit was not the typical Birkenstock fit of the Mayari.
