The tortoise shell buckles are super cute and the footbed is soft. Regular width is not as wide as Arizona style, so if you have really wide feet, this style may not be for you.

These are so neutral, with the torty buckle, goes with everything! Perfect size 7, 36 . Comfortable

Gizeh fits my foot like a glove right out of the box. I love the look of the big buckle! But I had to return. It was too tight on the top of my foot where the strap & big buckle went across my foot. I have high arches and wide feet. Usually I wear 41 in gizeh, but I tried the 42 in the big buckle. Something about the wider strap did not work with my foot maybe due to my high arches. So sad!

IN love. I always treat myself to a new Birkenstock every spring and these won. They are a great neutral and I love the tort buckle. Fit just like all other Birkenstock’s.

I absolutely love these shoes. I am an elementary teacher so am on my feet all day every day, and there is nothing like a pair of Birkenstock sandals for warm weather time in the classroom. I feel like this shoe runs slightly small. I wear an 8.5-9, and the 40s were just right. There is no way I could have worn the 39. I got them in the cognac and loved them so much that I also got them in black and almond. I might add another pair or two to my closet before summer is over. They are a bit of a splurge, but worth every penny. Don’t wait - they have been selling out quickly!

I am super happy with the look of Gizeh Torty big buckle. They can be dressed up or super casual. The tortoiseshell buckle is cute but not overwhelming if you are wearing a T-shirt and shorts. I think I will get both the almond and the mud green, which is actually a good neutral brown shade. I like the look of camo without the super green so this fits the bill for me.

These are my favorite style of Birkenstocks. Cute and comfy! I love the oversized, tortoise shell colored buckle on these and the neutral color goes well with just about everything! Looking forward to wearing these around all summer!

These fit larger than my other gizeh sandals

Fits like all the other gizeh birks. Very soft leather. The tone is almost and olive tan. The buckle is adorable and is an olive tortoise. IMO these are a little dressier than the other styles I have so I really like them! I ordered the light tan style as well. Waiting for that one to arrive! I was reluctant to let any water drip on them while hand washing etc., but doesn’t seem to leave any spots. Get them, you won’t be disappointed!

This is the snazziest pair of Birks that I've ever purchased. A great addition to my Birk collection. Fit is comparable to other thong style Birks purchased in past.

After breaking them in, they are quite comfortable.

I have been buying and wearing this model of Birkenstock for many years now, and so have a good sense of how they fit. I find them true to size and most break in pretty fast and do not bother the inside of my toes (some reviews mention this). I have normal width feet and a relatively high arch. I stand on my feet at work a great deal and love these shoes for their support and slimmer profile.

A bit of a splurge... very versatile sandal though will go well with pretty much any summer outfit.

I really wanted to love these! I am normally at 9 1/2 in sandals, and an Italian 41, but my toes kept hitting the end of the sandals in not a good way. Not comfortable either-I know they take time, but sadly these are not for me.

Love the look of these shoes, but they’re much more narrow than the regular Gizeh. Couldn’t even get it on my foot. Length was fine, just too narrow in width. I was looking for an updated version and these just won’t work. Sadly, I have to return.

Although these shoes are comfortable - they have unbelievably poor construction by Birkenstock. There is so much glue that is bubbling over on the edges it’s embarrassing. I’ve purchased several Birkenstock’s in the past and never seen this type of manufacturing issue. Zappos should also be embarrassed for accepting and selling this level of quality and construction by Birkenstock.

I love Birkenstocks and wanted to love this pair but these have a plastic piece that separates your big toe that was IMMEDIATE pain. I couldn't take more than a few steps without tossing them off my feet. Even just without walking, they hurt. Big design fail

Zappos is amazing. My Birks arrived within 3 days of ordering. I’ve worn Gizehs before finding this style very comfortable for my high arches and I do have bunions. The big buckle and wider straps give it a dressier look , at least in the color I purchased which is a lovely vanilla / yellow.

Love all the big buckle styles and the Tortoiseshell are perfect with these colors! Mud green is really a soft khaki rather than "green", and is a great neutral. I hope they bring out new seasonal colors in the Gizeh big buckle line - they are supercute, and a little dressier look without sacrificing comfort. Footbed fits like all Birkenstocks, although the wider strap may slightly alter how it feels if you're used to regular Gizeh .

It takes a day or two to adjust to these sandals, but after that, you're really gonna love it!

Love this new style. Great summer shoe.

My first pair of Birks in awhile. But the style and CUTE tortoise buckle sealed the deal. They are a bit snug right in the middle but don’t size up because you can adjust that. Zappos recommended my size for this purchase to be a 39 (normally a 38) so I was a bit concerned that they might be too big but the way these are designed, you need the extra bit so your toes don’t push right up to the top. I’ve worn them a few hours to break in because I know they’ll need it (a tiny blister on the inside of each but I expected that). These are so cute on and totally worth the initial discomfort. I’ve found some of Birkenstock’s styles too casual and even masculine, but not the Gizeh. So try a few styles before you decide, each can look similar online but will look very different on. I’m glad I came back to these. Alegria’s have been my go to’s so these are a welcome change. I’ll definitely buy another pair when more colors are in stock.

I love the look of the big buckle! The shoes are supportive but a little stiff out of the box and it's a little cool to wear them in so I'm holding off on the comfort factor overall. I got the neutral color and am looking forward to wearing them all summer long!
