Runs longer and narrower. Different fit than original birks.

I'm normally a regular 40 in Birkenstocks, because I like them loose. The Gizeh is always hit or miss depending on how tight the toe thong is. I love the soft footbed, but the regular width felt like a narrow width to me. And the strap was on the last hole. I don't have wide feet. I can't imagine who uses the tightest hole. I felt like the holes were punched too near the center of the strap, and not close enough to the end of the strap. The toe area felt a bit too tight. I guess thongs really aren't my thing. I prefer the Arizona.

I have multiple pairs of the shoe in this size and these seem much shorter. My toes came up over the top at the end. When I compared them to my other Gizehs they are shorter. I have five other pairs of these in various colors. I am very disappointed because I even tried going up a size and those were too big. These are my favorite shoes and if I can’t get them anymore that makes me sad

I love these birks. The little extra pad allows you to open the box and wear. No break in period. This is my 4th color.

Great fit. Size 40. Normally I wear 9 1/2 narrow.

The sandals are so cute, and the foot bed is comfortable, if a little stiff at first. The leather thong is thin, but hard, and it hurts. I love the sandals so am keeping them, hoping the webbing between my toes will toughen up.

I wear a size 8 in US women’s shoes. If you follow the suggestion to buy a size 39 for 8-81/2, but those are too big. I’ve owned 7 pairs of Birkenstock’s and I purchase size 38 for my size 8. If you buy clogs and want to wear socks then buy 39

These fit great. The leather is soft right out of the box, I love the soft bed on these. The toe post is very hard and takes some getting used to. Got a big blister the first time I wore them.

I wanted these to feel good so badly. Sadly, the toe thong did not work for my feet with chemo induced neuropathy. They have to go back for someone else to love.

Birks always take a minute to break in to be honest. But they are worth it!

Great sandals. I had seen them at a shoe store, but they didn’t have my size. So glad Zappos did! They’re cute (even my husband, who hates Birks, admits this) and fit perfectly.

Beautiful Shoe! I have bought the Gizeh several time and LOVE them! The Soft footbed is always a bonus! The color is the only thing that I ended up not liking. It is true to the pictures, but it ends us simply blending into the color of my foot. I'm going to stick with the silver.

I love these sandals! For me, they are the best fitting and most comfy style of Birks. And, IMHO, also the most stylish version. This is my third pair, and I bought these specifically to use as house slippers.

It is a great sandal for those who have bunions, plantar fasciitis, and who are used to the lightweight of vibram 5 fingers. If you want something that looks good, doesn't weigh a tonne, and has support for your feet, this is it. Great for urban walking. I will use my VFFs for trails still.

L??VE the Gizeh Soft Footbed sandal! This is the sandal I put on every day after work and what I wear on the weekends! Best, ever! I wear a size 8 and in Birkenstock’s and I’m always a steady 38 due to the generosity of the shoe. You won’t be disappointed!

The Gizeh version of Birks has been in my closet for many many years. I finally had to buy replacements for my two older pairs (that I can't bring myself to pitch yet.) These have a lot of support built in.

These are a great fit. I am normally a 7.5-8 so I got the 8-8.5 since that’s the way they are sized. They fit perfect. If you are in between sizes like me I recommend going up a half size.

I love the Gizeh Birks. Very comfy and they also look great with any casual clothes including summer dresses.

Normally I'm a 39 in all Birkenstocks, had to order a 40 in these and then they were perfect. The soft footbed is so comfortable! I have arthritis and the soft footbed makes all the difference. Love the Gizeh style and the sandcastle color. Comfortable right out of the box. My new favorite sandals.
