Immediately felt too stiff.

These Birkenstocks were less comfortable than those I have previously purchased. Much stiffer. Perhaps because they aren't made of leather.

These didn't work for me. They cut into my toes at the thong portion and my foot overhung the edge, despite the original gizeh style fitting fine in the same size and width.

The plastic piece that hours between toes is so uncomfortable…had to return!

I was excited to get this pair of shoes as I’ve owned many different pair of Birkenstocks over the last 35 years and have always loved them. Unfortunately, these were so uncomfortable just trying them on and walking 10 feet in my house that I couldn’t even consider keeping them. I felt that the distance from where the upper strap hits to where the toe strap is feels longer than necessary. The length and width were fine, but I had to loosen the top strap so my toes could reach the toe end of the shoe. The other issue I had is that the piece separating my toes was extremely uncomfortable and bulky. I have another pair of the same style (different material) and they have never bothered me. I wish I loved these because the style is super cute, but unfortunately they are going back.

Ordered the first pair and they were too small (too short). Exchanged them for a size up and they were overall long enough, but my toes still went over the edge of the ridge of the footbed, so they are going back today. Any no, I don't have exceptionally long toes!

Very clunky

I have wide feet and these did not feel comfortable at all. Every part of the sole hit me in the wrong areas of my feet.

More narrow than the mayari

Love birkenstock vegan. I wore out my tan colored mayari and couldn't find a normal color replacement. What's the deal with pink and blue iridescent colors? I have tried the Papillio platform Arizona shoes and those weren't right for me. The Gizeh Papillio platforms toe spacer is the most uncomfortable part of the shoe. I wore them in the house for 10 minutes and there is still an indent on the top of my foot about an hour later. There is no way I would be able to break these in. Too bad since they are a cute vegan shoe in a normal color (black). Come on birkenstock! Offer more normal colored vegan options

I wanted to love them! Given the brand name I assumed soft comfort. Wrong. This was the most uncomfortable shoe ever! Very hard and stiff. Imagining walking in those on cobble stone streets in Europe was unthinkable. I was is pain after ten minutes walking around my house and when I removed them I felt immense relief and knew right then that as much as I loved the style they were not meant for walking and were to be returned.

i have a bunion on my left foot - this shoe was not wide enough.

I really wanted some platform birkenstocks and I thought the feel of these shoes would be similar to the birko-flor material. This material is different, and it feels cheap. It feels even worse than cheap shoes at Walmart or Target, but it’s over $100. I ended up returning these shoes, I’d rather spend the money on something high quality.

I need arch supporting sandals and my podiatrist suggested Birkenstocks. The footbed felt like a perfect fit until I extended my toes. I found that the toe post was too close to the tip of the shoe, thus the rim at the top of the foot bed irritated my toes. I don't think my toes are particularly long, but a larger size would have been too big everywhere else. Also aesthetically I didn't like how the top of the strap covered over some toes.

This item says it the platform but this is the regular birkenstock not platform

Too narrow

These are not Birkenstocks. They do not have leather footbeds. They are narrower and the toe peg is made of hard plastic. I am a long-time Birkenstock Gizeh wearer and have loved pair after pair. I don't know how Zappos is selling these as Birkenstocks.

These fit like I would expect, the foot bed and the artificial leather are very nice. BUT....if I wear them for over an hour they are SO uncomfortable, because of the weirdly shape hard plastic between my toes. I would not recommend these.
