Bought these for my wife in a 39,and they seemed a 1/2 size off to me. She loved them, and didn’t want to risk not having them for the next few weeks. I contacted Zappos and the next day she had the 38. They fit her foot like a glove. She said they are the most comfortable Sandals ever...and she wears sandals year round. Now I think I’ll have to get a second pair in a different color.

I love these shoes. I would buy more if I could. I love the color I got, the buckle, the material and comfort. I need to get used to the sandal toe slot. I think after wearing for a bit, it conforms to your toes. They are still very comfortable and quite stylish.

Fit well and very comfortable!

I gave this as a gift to my daughter. Birkenstock seems to be her default footwear of which she has several. I gave her the "big buckle" edition in black of the Arizona which she loved last Christmas. This Gizeh is her second big buckle model which she loves.

AN incredible color. Takes about 7 days to mold to your foot. Worth it. I used to be a Birk hater. So arrogant of me. I have so many now. I met the owner a dozen years ago (a woman!) and she inspired me so much as Adair play business was woman. Your feet will thank you for these. Your color palette with be beautiful. Buy them!

Love the smooth leather insoles instead of the suede ones. My feet won't sweat in these, finally!!! The soles are very hard, though. I have them for in the house and in my back yard as slippers.

Just color and fit I wanted

Fit was great. I was initially going to return for a size 39 instead of the 40 as I felt they were a little too long but cinching the strap solved that problem.

The last time I bought Birkenstocks was about 25 years ago! I stopped buying them because the suede insoles would start to smell horrible. I'm thrilled that these come with smooth leather insoles! I'm hoping they make more styles with these insoles. After not wearing them for so long they do take some getting used to. They are hard, but support well. I bought them to wear in the house and for in my back yard, I live in Phoenix, and our summers are long and hot. Sandals are more comfy and practical than slippers in our summer months.

Prettiest Burk Ever. I love the pink. It is so fun and I get millions of compliments every day I wear them.

These are SUPER cute and the color is so beautiful! I may have to buy other colors. The fit like other Gizah's but with a thicker strap and bigger buckle.

This Birkenstock is great! I have owned several pair and this shoe is my favorite.

These arrived quickly and I love them! I usually wear a size 8 which is supposed to be a 39 in Birkenstock, but I have size 38 Birkenstock in another style that fit perfectly so I ordered a 38 in these and I chose correctly. They fit like a glove. I read other reviews that said the piece between the toes is hard and uncomfortable. The way my feet fit into this sandal I don’t even feel the piece. The structure of the shoe holds them on my feet not the toe piece if that makes sense. I think if I got the larger size my foot would slide forward and that hard piece would cut into the between toe area, could not be happier with this purchase.

Everything was ok

I have been wearing Gizeh Birks for 17 years. I got my very 1st pair in a shop next to the Duomo in Florence, Italy, while I was visiting my family and enjoying the city and art, and immediately walked 5 miles that day in them. Good idea? Worked for me! I walked the ancient streets of Italy for 2 more weeks in those. These tulip pink w the big buckle are my 8th pair of Gizehs (I also love Arizona, Mayari and a couple others). I don't really care if the buckle is big or small, one doesn't ever unbuckle it once it's set; I think it's a novelty. Birkenstocks are worth every single penny. With 5 daughters, I have bought a few score, and I have worn my own throughout the world, in Fiji, in Belize, Sri Lanka, Puerto Rico, Costa Rica and all over Wash, DC. You wont find a more supportive sandal that also has longevity plus great looks all in the same shoe. So yes! Buy this sandal!

Love. These. I received a handful of compliments the first day I wore them! Stylish spin on the traditional Gizeh style. As with all Birkenstocks, they take a bit to break in so I wouldn't wear them to an amusement park all day right off the shelf but I know they'll mold to my feet and fit like a glove in no time. No complaints. Definitely worth the purchase!

If you love Birks, you will love this version. They are beautiful and look more elevated with dresses and skirts. I LOVE THEM!

SO cute. I have several styles of Birkenstock which I love but feel these are the most comfortable ones I have worn ... maybe because the footbed is the smooth leather? I will definitely purchase more in the future!!

No joke, I’ve worn these shoes every single day since I purchased them less than two months ago. Previously had bone shaving surgery on my right big to, due to a lack of cartilage, my bones touch if my toes flex too far in flimsy shoes and flip flops. I need shoes that minimize the movement of my foot. Birkenstock is the only brand so far that minimizes the movement of my foot while also being deliciously comfy and really really really good looking.

I really like the styling of these shoes. The big buckle gives them a different look than the regular Gizeh. The footbed is very comfortable and it didn’t take much to break them in. I found that they fit true to size; I always wear a size 40 in Birkenstocks and these were no exception. The width and length are perfect.

suede is soft and comfortable. I often wear a narrow in Birkenstock but the medium fit well

This shoe is so comfortable. The Big Buckle gives the shoe a more updated look. I love them! I bought the black ones. I haven't worn them outside yet as it is not the weather for them but they were comfortable right out of the box.
