I own several pairs of Birkenstock’s. Love them because they are so comfortable. This sandal is my new summer favorite. The shiny gold and black is perfect. They really cool with black shorts, sun dresses, denim etc. I’ve already gotten several compliments. They felt good on my feet from the first day and will take no time to break them in since I want to wear them everywhere! I haven’t seen anyone else wearing this python pattern. Also, Zappos is a great company. I had some issues with another pair I ordered in gold and they went above and beyond to resolve the situation. Very happy with this purchase!

Fit was perfect but the shoe was not comfortable for walking. There is a hard plastic piece that goes between your toes. I really love the look of these sandals but due to the fact it hurts to walk in them I'm returning.

I love them. My feet feel perfectly held and supported and I love the design. I'll be able to wear these as more 'dressy' shoes with my white things ( I love wearing white).....

I simply wasn't as happy with these as I thought I'd be. They were a little too shiny for my taste, and just seemed too clunky overall. I have a similar pair made by SAS that are much prettier, although a bit pricier.

Unwearable. There is a very hard piece of stiff plastic between the toes. It’s painful. They should have used leather or a softer plastic. (I own the foam Gizeh sandles - which are incredibly comfortable. I thought I would give these a try. I don’t know how this passed the design phase at Birkenstock.

These sandals are awesome! I think the style is super cute (unlike what some might believe). The fact they come in such cool colors and patterns is just a bonus. Very grateful bc Vionic no longer makes their super cute sandals (for some reason their stuff is now all stodgy looking) and I am needing to replace those finally after many yrs of use. None of these types of shoes are cheap, but when you consider what you'd spend on more frequent purchases of lesser quality shoes (or purses, makeup, socks, undies, etc), it more than evens out. Fit is perfect! Note: If you are not accustomed to wearing a thong type sandal please be aware your foot will need to get used to the leather post between the toes. I see lots of disgruntled reviews complaining about the fit/comfort of these types of sandals, as if it has everything to do with the quality or make of the sandal and not with wearer's familiarity with the style. (The post on this sandal is very comfy, btw.)

I love these shoes. I have 5 pairs in other colors, but these are just do great! I love the color scheme. Thumbs up for Gizeh, always!!!!!

The shoe is beautiful but the tab between the toe really hurts, I thought it was a sizing issue that's why I sent back the first pair. I am trying to return them to exchange for a different pair and it isn't allowing me to do so. Bummed

Fit was like my other Birkenstocks - have worn for years. New color really updated the sandal. Love it!

in the smallest setting these fit perfect. love my Birkenstock’s. my feet are already narrow so on the smallest setting they’re great. I’m happy

Purchased python eggshell miceofiber but was disappointed with the look. The Birk brand in black on the side was a sharp contrast and not flattering to the sandal. Returning.

Beautiful shoe...very well made & seems of excellent quality... true Birkenstock! Unfortunately, they were too large and having to return....seems I ordered wrong size...since I have now ordered one size smaller and all is well! So grateful for the ease to return and service provided by Zappos!!!

I really wanted to keep these because they are so cute. But, as other reviewers have noted, the hard plastic piece between the toes is a deal breaker. Ouch! What was Birkenstock thinking? In addition, my foot is on the narrower side of average but not so narrow that I need to buy narrow shoes. These were so wide & roomy on my feet that I needed to buckle the strap to the first hole. The length was right so unfortunately sizing down wouldn't have worked. Returning.

I was very disappointed that Zappos didn't list the European size and furthermore sized up resulting in a shoe that was way too big. A size 8 women's US should be a 38 European. Instead, I was sent a 39 which was just way to big by every measure. If they'd listed the european size, I at least could have mitigated. A US 8 is simply not a 39. They need to fix the sizing. Very disappointed because I needed the shoes quickly.

I selected leather under the filter section and therefore I didn’t verify that the Birkenstock selected were plastic. I don’t wear plastic shoes unless they are rubber boots. I’m very disappointed and don’t intend to shop here ever again. If I select leather that’s all that should be shown to me same with size and width…. Very very disappointed in both pair that I purchased….
