Very good shoe. I use this for strength, cardio, and running with no issues. It took a little while for them to break in and be comfortable. The area around the toes were a bit stiff at first, but after a few sessions they formed and now feel great.

Does run a little big. I typically wear an 8.5 mens but this has a little more room around the end of the toe than I would prefer. Did try a 8 mens and it is simply too small.

Great overall shoe. A little high off the ground but still comfortable and stable enough to lift in.

Only complaint is that they are stiff around the heal. Wear at least ankle socks while you are breaking them in.

Love the shoe. Very comfortable. Look great. The heel is a little high. I think I would get blisters if I wore a very short sock. With appropriate sock no issues.

This shoe is great after settling into it. I feel so much more balanced for big numbers on Back Squats, Deadlifts. Comfort is a huge step back from the Nano X. Changing direction and poly-metric exercises, like box jump overs. I feel like I slip off the shoe. The upper material doesn't seem strong enough to hold you in the shoe. Overall a haven't tested it on a lot of movements yet like Olympic Lifts And Running. Looking forward to getting into some more exercise with these before I have a complete review.

Great comfortable shoes, but a slight miss for the CrossFit community. The runners rocker and the drop make weight lifting difficult; however, the reduced weight and the knit upper are a plus. Select your workouts carefully for this one.

High rise around the achilles is a little irritating if wearing low cut socks.

For all around CrossFit, the shoe is pretty solid. Very different to the X, which I'm yet to decide if it's a better/worse difference as I'm a huge fan of the X. Can definitely see the X1s being better in running WODs though which is a positive!

The only complaint I have is the top of the back of the shoe rubs on my Achilles tendon. Longer socks solved the problem.

Comfortable feel for training shoes. If you've never had nano's before, the X1 is a great introduction.

This shoe took a different direction than the previous Nanos. They ditched the rope climbing grip. It also seems to be more fit for running than previous models which makes it more difficult with full-footed movements like squats.

Reebok has quality shoes. The only thing is that this particular color is more orange than red.

Good for running and plyometric crossfit movements. Not so great for heavy power lifting.

Great looking shoe - I've been excited to get these! However, there's some general comfort issues which makes it disappointing. The shoe feels more narrow than previous versions and the back of the shoe really pokes into your ankles even when standing still. Very noticable.
It's a nice shoe but it's nowhere near as good as the Nano 9's. shame really. maybe next years will be better?

Can't complain. Work well with metcons. Haven't used them for weightlifting.

Light, breathes well. Slightly narrower than the Nano 4.

This is certainly one of the best trainers that I've tried. The level of comfort is pretty solid with a firm feel, which is great for general training, HIIT and cross-fit as well as weight training. It had adequate arch support that should satisfy most. The description claims that it was designed to accommodate jogging as well. While I did find that it rolled nicely, compared to other trainers, I feel like the level of cushioning and arch support was a little lacking for my running comfort and would only serve shorter sprints and not so much the longer runs. Since a good portion of my cardio workout is running and jogging, I decided to return these. I was hoping to find the silver bullet shoe; the perfect trainer/runner, but I'm afraid this confirms that maybe it's not possible and I might just need two different shoes to suit my workout habits. Reviewing it as a trainer, it's one of the best, I feel. I really like the design of the wider tread on the toe, compared to a runner, because it provides more comfort when doing exercises that require applying more weight to your toes, such as push ups and planking and such. It was very grippy and provided a lot more support and stability when doing side movements, where as many of my running shoes provide very little and often lead to rolling my ankle. Size wise, I found these to be a little wider than most running sneakers, especially in the toe box. I can see this being great to accomodate your own inserts, but I personally found that 1/2 size down from my typical running shoe fit me pretty well. Of course, I think this style shoe is best when it fits snug, so that you don't experience any sliding.
I may come back and purchase these as a trainer in the future, because as a trainer, they were excellent. It just wasn't what I was looking for today.

These are two different colors as seen and same exact size but one is obviously way bigger and fits HUGE in comparison to all my other nanos exact size as ordered. Unsure if this is a QC problem or that specific color is too big. Overall great shoe minus the sizing issue
