I got the Nano X and love them. Then I saw these bad boys and knew I had to have them. They are a mix of the new and the old. Maybe the only criticism is that you have to wear socks high enough so that the shoe doesn't rub your heel in the back. Can't wait to workout in them!!

I was wearing my Nano Xs when the Nano X1s arrived. I opened the box and picked up the X1s and immediately noticed a difference in weight. The X1s were noticeably lighter. I slipped off the Xs and put on the X1s and noticed that there is less arch support. The overall fit, felt like a cross between the Xs and Nano 2s. The support around the ankle is more akin to the Xs and the feel of the insole was like the Nano 2s. The toe box is a bit wider than the Nano Xs. I wore my new X1s around the house and on a skateboard ride. Today I put them to the test during a work out. The Cardio WOD went like this: This is 5 rounds of continuous work. R1 - Run 400 meters, 30 Hand Release Pushups, 10 Goblet Squats, 8 DB Rows each side R2 - Run 350 meters, 25 Hand Release Pushups, 15 Goblet Squats, 10 DB Rows each side R3 - Run 300 meters, 20 Hand Release Pushups, 20 Goblet Squats, 12 DB Rows each side R4 - Run 250 meters, 15 Hand Release Pushups, 25 Goblet Squats, 14 DB Rows each side R5 - Run 200 meters, 10 Hand Release Pushups, 30 Goblet Squats, 16 DB Rows each side As you can see there was a bit of running and here is where I noticed a difference that I hadn't felt before in a pair of Nano's. The bounce on the toe was incredible. I felt like I was running on a nice cushiony forefoot outsole. These are the best nanos I've ever worn for running. I look forward to doing double unders without foot fatigue. After 1 work out, these shoes have impressed me enough to leave a review. I'm a long time Nano user and have owned the 2s, 4s, 6s, 8s & Xs . These are my new favorite Nanos. The 8s and Xs are 2nd and 3rd respectively. If you're in need of a new pair of shoes for strength training and Cardio WODs don't skip the X1s.

First off great shoe. Comfortable fit all around, not too soft but not too hard. The size chart is off bad, luckily I went to a store and tried in another Reebok shoe to figure out my actual size. Love the colors as well.

You did it Reebok you stepped out of the box, in this case the CrossFit box and made a shoe that delivers the best of both worlds. A true all around fitness shoe. This shoe carried me through my leg day and my jump rope/HIIT training. The stability and platform is there for weight training while having great flexibility and bounce for impact exercises. I usually do 45-60 minutes of jump rope and my feet thank you for the Floatride, it really does gives a reactive bounce allowing you to keep going. With the Nano X1 you kept being a change maker by the 7mm drop. Don't let anyone say if it's not 4mm it won't work. 7mm has been much better for overall workouts. My feet were in perfect position for squats and the new drop makes the shoe much more comfortable. Reebok you got yourself outta the box you were in and made one of the best all around fitness/workout shoes that will not only appeal to a broader group of athletes and fitness enthusiasts but will give them more energy saving, foot thanking, 3 extra mm standing and Floatriding bouncin better workouts. Good work Reebok.

Being a huge fan of the Nano line and the 4mm drop made it quite the transition in getting used to the increase to 7mms, especially during my lifting WODs. All in all it wasn't bad, just different. Add in the increased toe spring and you don't feel as stable during lifts as the beefier 9 and X but that's the trade off for smoother runs and lighter weight. I get that they're trying to be the most versatile training shoe even outside of crossfit and I think they've achieved it. I can see other Nano fans being upset about the changes but I don't mind them at all. The nano toe-box width is top notch and keeps me going back to Nanos for my WODs instead of the competition.

Really comfortable shows. Too early to opine on quality, but fabric seems to be very resistant. All black looks very cool.

Wasn't sure how these would be because I love my Nano Xs, but these are really light and very comfortable. I've only done a couple WODs in them so far, but I'm liking what I'm feeling so far. If you are a fan of the Xs, give the X1s a shot!
