So cute but had to exchange for 1 size smaller. I have the regular hunter tall rain boots in a size 7 and those fit great and after reading all the reviews I debated on if I needed to stay with a size 7 or order down... I ordered a 7 but they were just too big. I measured them against the tall rain boots and they appear to be the same size however they didn’t feel the same once my foot was in it. I’m the end... it might just be preference and if you’re wearing thick socks etc. but since Zappos has great returns, I’d try ordering both sizes and picking the one you feel is best.

The fit is a little bigger, but perfect for layering socks or wearing thick ones! I am pregnant, so my feet are a little bigger than usual so the extra room in these is perfect. Not to mention they are insanely comfortable. At first, I was alarmed at how blocky they seemed (kind of like Frankenstein shoes), but I think it was just because they are blockier than shoes I normally wear on a regular basis. After testing them out around the house, I was so thrilled to wear them when we had an Oregon downpour. They kept my feet and socks bone dry. I love these boots!

Other reviews said to size down I’m normally 8.5 so I ordered the 8 and it fit perfect! Love these boots!

I don’t know how I haven’t found these sooner. The tall Hunter boots as they are a bit tight on my calves, so I love the practicality of these lower guys on rainy and sleety days. These are also SO comfortable- I wore them for the first time in Europe and have been walking for miles in new shoes (smart, I know) and haven’t had any blisters!

The most comfortable rain boot I ever wore. I love the wedge -- maybe that's why it is so comfortable. Definitely size down-they run big. I sized down one size and still needed an insert or a heavy sock to take up the extra space. I think the style is adorable. I got the pink - which rocks!

Very comfortable boots. They feel about half size larger but that’s ok because I wear them with thick socks. Perfect for keeping my feet warm and dry at the barn.

Fit was perfect. And as someone with smaller feet - technically between 5.5 and 6 - it was fine. Colour is lovely! I feel fine wearing these in a summer downpour vs. tall wellies!

These are theee best rain boots I have ever purchased! Immediately upon putting them on they were the comfiest boots I’d ever purchased! They are so stinking cute in person, the little wedge just adds that perfect amount of style! SO happy I purchased these! Highly recommend!!

Super cute platform look. Cushy so you can wear them all day comfortably! Only downside is the light grey color gets dirty easily and you have to make sure to rinse them off!

I really like these compared to my traditional Hunter boots! The Original Play Boots are much more comfortable. I think the sizing is a tad bigger than the Original Tour Short Boot, but I’m not complaining. It just made them more comfy..I did not need to size down. I like to wear thicker socks for warmth and added comfort, so the sizing allows for it.

The short boot makes wearing all day a possibility. Cute and comfortable!

I was hesitant to purchase these based on price, but they are worth every penny. I have arthritis in both feet, but these boots provided the arch support and stability I needed to be able to wear them all day without added pain. I’ve worn them to a music fest where we stood for hours, worked in them 8-5 as a teacher, and walked on a field trip with my son for hours - no troubles!

I have a wide instep so this boot fit like a dream. I followed the directions of a previous reviewer not to pull on the back tab of the boot to get your foot settled—I don’t want to pull the tab off. The boots are great in the rain and walking in muddy terrain. It is now my go-to boot after the snow melt. Love ‘em!

These rain boots are fun and stylish. I went with the red and it is more like a bright coral. After reading the reviews I ordered a size smaller —they are perfect. The slight wedge heel makes them more comfortable than most rubber rain boots.

I normally wear a 6 but I got the 5 in these. They were a different style than the normal standard style which a 6 was too big on me. I decided to try this style cause of the lower ankle height and the slight wedge heel. I haven’t worn them much yet because it hasn’t rained since I ordered them!

I can’t wait to wear these with ankle jeans! Super cute. I saw a lot of reviews saying how big they run but I ordered my regular size and they fit perfectly. Love these! May get another color!

I love these! Awesome for walking my dog in the rain. I’m a 6.5 in most shoes. I went with the comments and sized down to the 6. They fit perfect! Like a pair of gym shoes . Easy to kick off and the pull up strap made them easy to put on . I have a case of the kankles (Lol) and I had plenty of room in the ankle/calf. I actually have worn them at my outside job on a rainy day. My feet stayed dry, and they didn’t hurt at the end of my 24 hour work day. I would definitely order them again.

I absolutely love these rain boots! I read previous reviews and ordered a size down... So glad I did. They fit perfect, even with socks. I want to order every color! I love that they have a little wedge to them. Super stylish and I can wear them alllllllll day with no discomfort. I highly recommend!

I wear a size 9.5 and these size 9s are perfect. I wish they had this color combination in the regular sole-- not the wedge, but whatever. And the back of the boot snaps back at my leg when I walk which may get annoying if I walk a great distance. So far I've only worn them a little. I love this shorter size to step in quickly to go in the yard or get my mail at the end of the driveway. I love Hunters.

The boots are just right for what I needed them for, feel comfortable to wear and not crazy expensive.
