I am a huge Birkenstock fan, but even by the high standards that Birkenstock upholds these shoes are outstanding. While I say these shoes feel true to size, I'm judging that based on the fact that they feel true-to-size for Birkenstocks. The Birkenstock regular width always feels a bit wider than most other brands. Once you've worn them for a while, though, you'll really appreciate that extra room. As always, the arch support is fantastic. Now Birkenstock just needs to start making other styles with this new CT sole.

Fantastic improvement on the classic Birkenstock Arizona, with a better grip sole.

I love the style of these because they are different from the typical Birkenstock sandal. it seems to be Birkenstock's answer to the hiking boot. They are a bit heavier which is to be expected and may take a little longer to break in. Overall I love the style and the comfort is as expected.

Returned EU size 42, (my usual Birkenstock size), because they felt at least a full size too long. Don't quite get the discrepancy, but these sandals were indeed much larger than any Birkenstock Arizona's I've worn. I'm waiting on the arrival of a pair of UE 41's, and will report back with a proper review.

A wonderful shoe that is stylish and also healthy for your body. Just keep at it If they don't fit perfect at first. You'll get it, also watch the birkenstock YouTube video to get some clear instructions on how to fit properly!

These Arizonas fit well, but are initially stiff, both in the sole and the leather straps. These will soften over time and will conform to my feet well.

This is my ?th pair of these Birkies. I love the soles on these as I live in the Northwoods and appreciate the rugged soles. Glad to have them in a different color this year as I usually just get black. These go nicely with my lighter denims. Glad to use Zappos for they get them here quick and have a great exchange program. I didn't have to wait for the first to be returned before I could get the replacement on the way! Thanks Zappos

I tried a 43 instead of 44 and it fit better.

Straps were not long enough for someone with a high arch. Regular Arizona's straps are long enough for me, just not the CT's.

The shoe sole is great, however, the straps were too stingy for my high arch and can't extend far enough.

Like the new more rugged style. Very comfortable, my favorite pair of Birkenstocks yet.

I’ve owned traditional Birkenstock sandals for year and was a little hesitant to try these but I’m so glad I did because they are wonderful! Same fit and general feel of the originals with much more cushion. The only downside is pea gravel gets caught in the tread fairly easily…a mild annoyance but worth mentioning.

Classic Birks with a twist—a more rugged sole that lets me walk trails and woods with my dog. My classic Birks are still in the rotation, but get a bit slippery in the humid woods with rocks and roots. These fit the bill and will break in nicely.

Longtime Bork fan. I was a little resistant to trying these out because I have enjoyed the originals version so much but WOW, these are even better. These fit exactly like the traditional ones but the sole is just a little bit more cushiony which is a welcome addition. No issues whatsoever, highly recommend.

Freaking love. I’m a long Birkenstock fan and I absolutely love these. Love the look the feel love the sole. I’d say a definitely definite buy

Been wearing these for about a week now. They’re not as comfortable as my other Arizonas. That’s because my other pairs have the soft footbed and the straps are suede. I guess there is definitely a break in period and I’m hoping that eventually they’ll be comfortable. Time will tell.
