I almost didn't buy this jacket based on how it fits the model in the main photo. I wanted to buy for my husband but I was worried it would be bulky. I then read this brand runs a little bigger, so I thought maybe that was why it looked "off" on the model. My husband is a M shirt guy & usually goes L when it comes to jackets or hoodies, but for this jacket I bought him a M & it fits perfectly! Everyone is different so I hate suggesting to size down, but I can at least say if you float between 2 sizes, going with the smaller size won't hurt!

I’m a bigger guy; I usually find myself between an XL and a 2XL/XXL. I loved the way this jacket looked when I first saw it last year and regretted not buying it then. When I saw Cotopaxi’s new color options for this year, none appealed to me as much as this emerald one so I sought out sales for any remaining stock and was psyched to find Zappos was selling it at a slight discount. I think it actually looks better in person but the fit for the XXL is pretty tight. I have to suck in my gut a little if I’m only wearing a t-shirt underneath and a lot if I add another layer. I am working on losing weight, so I’m definitely keeping it, but this XXL is considerably tighter than those from Patagonia and The North Face.
But again, the colors do look awesome!
