I’ve been wearing Asics shoes for years but have noticed a real decline in quality of late. These shoes were very attractive and fit well, but everything about them felt cheap. I was especially concerned about the thin fabric over the toe that looked like it would tear quite easily. Even the laces were ridiculously thin and didn’t seem like they would last. The shoe was true to size and felt comfortable, but the quality wasn’t acceptable for the price. My last pair of Asics fell apart in a matter of months, so I didn’t have much faith that these would last. Bottom line, I decided to return them.

I am returning these GT-1000 10. I really prefer the 9's. As a past runner (now walker) who always wore (loved) Asics and with age is now suffering from knee problems, I find it frustrating how quickly Asics changes the version of a model. I notice significant changes in current versions of the GT-1000, and the 9 was the most comfortable for me ever since the 6. Now, it's all about the 10. Doesn't feel as comfy or supportive, so it's going back. I'm stocking up on the 9's while I can still get them.

The stretch knit upper looks wrinkly when worn, and stretches and wrinkles as the foot moves. Weirdly, the way the shoe is constructed, it felt like it positioned my foot at an awkward angle, and, the resulting look was very unappealing. They really don't look good on, and they don't feel great either.

LOVE LOVE LOVE THESE SHOES!!! GOTTA BUY THEM IN MORE COLORS NOW. SOOOOOO HAPPY THAT I BOUGHT THEM AND TRIED THIS BRAND, THEY ARE SO VERY COMFORTABLE AND SUCH A GREAT COLOR AND STYLE. STOP LOOKING AND BUY THEM :)

absolutely love these shoes .By far the most comfortable shoes I’ve ever owned. I just purchased another pair fir work.They fit true to size.

very supportive for over pronators, and a stylish sleek look, they are both comfy and good quality…

Love Asic shoes and if you haven't tried them you should! The fit and support are great.

NB is my fave but they've been running short. Asics was at least 1/2 size to full size longer.

I've worn Asics GT-1000 line for years. Thought I could just order & everything would be like my tried & true GT-1000's. Wrong! They are now making this sneaker a half size smaller than my GT-1000's of the past & much narrower. I loosened up those laces as much as I could & the shoe was still so uncomfortable. I tried a half size bigger but it felt too "slippy" in the heel & still narrow. Very disappointed. I finally settled on a Brooks sneaker. I wanted to love this Asics shoe the colors are great! It reminded me of the way Nike's have always felt small on me through the years.

Seemed larger than previous Asic shoes. I had to send them back.

The large bumps on the bottom of the soles were felt as bumps on my feet. So the inside of the shoe is wavy in the wrong places. I sent them back.
