I'm an Asics gal, size 8.5 wide, due to the bunion on my left foot. Really, I'm an 8.25, but since that size isn't available, I buy the 8.5 wide and add in a second Asics insole. Fits perfectly. Great comfort as I'm on my feet all day in the gym with a wooden floor. My non-bunion foot would be fine with a regular width, but this foot fits fine with the wide and the extra insole. I bought the GEL-Excite 8 in two colors, and they both fit equally well. For reference, I wear 38 in all my Birkenstocks.

Fit is great!

Very cushy shoe, I have had earlier versions of this. Great comfort for the price. I would say I needed to replace them a bit sooner than other more expensive running shoes, but I'm ok with that. The slipper part of the shoe doesn't have much structure, but that is perfectly fine for walking and running (Gel-Contend has more structure and is equally comfortable if you are looking for that.) Runs just a hair longer than earlier versions (Asics I feel runs about a half size shorter than other brands, this is just a bit longer than their normal - I am an 8.5 in other brands, normally a 9 in Asics. I stuck with the 9, but probably could have gone down to an 8.5.)

I am a devoted Asics Gel athletic shoes. These are great too, I was not sure about the pale pink color, but I love it. I order 1/2 size up so I can remove the insole and put in my orthotics, great fit. I love them

Light and comfortable

This is my second pair of Asics Gel-Excite 8 shoes, so I knew from experience the size I needed (7W), but this shoe tends to run pretty narrow. And the wide width isn't very wide. Once you arrive at the correct size, they feel extremely comfortable and provide good support. I prefer a lighter, more neutral color but purchased the navy shoe, because it was the only color available in my size. My only complaint is that the 47" shoelaces are not quite long enough. Since I have a high arch, getting a comfortable fit left me with barely enough lace to tie, so I will probably purchase another pair of laces.

So comfortable, right out of the box and a great color and style. I love that you can get a wide fit that is perfect for a slightly wider foot and in great designer options. These are the most comfortable gym shoes and so super cute. I will never buy Nike again!

Fortunately, I had previously purchased the shoe in a different color. Since it was such a great shoe, I bought this pair. They are perfect.

The size fits well and feels really comfortable. I love the colors.
