I wanted them to fit, especially for the price. I ordered the Wide width and it was still narrow, it felt like a regular width.

I was disappointed in the design on the top of the shoe. I have a couple pairs but in a different color and you were out of them. Thought this shoe would be identical but it isn't. Since you just pick out which color you wanted, everything should be the same but isn't and there's no mention of the difference. I think they are really ugly. ??

Usually the 6 1/2 wide are perfect size for my foot. This shoe didn’t feel wide. The length was good, but the fit was too tight. ?? Gonna try 7 wide.

I bought these in yellow and were great but needed to replace. I purchased the orange, great color, BUT were snug and gave me a blister on my first run- what happened?

Had to return as I needed more support on the sides where the ASICS emblem was painted on instead of sewn. I ordered the gel Venture 8 (I have the Venture 7). The Venture 8 has a synthetic sole instead of a rubber sole. Haven’t received it yet.

I love the look of this shoe but it's extremely narrow, more so than other Asics I've had in the past. I got a Size 8 and it feels smaller than my other Size 8 Asics. I'm returning and going up a 1/2 size and ordering them in the wide width. I should have listened to the other reviewers who said the same thing.

Read the Reviews!! Super cute, good arch support but they run small. Size up when ordering. I am exchanging for a half size up.

Felt very tight across the laces (and I have narrow feet) but did have good toe space.

The fit seems a bit big for a 7-medium. The back (heel) seems too high. Overall, it seems wide for my liking.

I only wear ASICS, but this shoe fell short of what I normally find with their shoe. Ran big and just wasn't comfortable at all. Thank goodness Zappos let me return the shoe at 45 days!

Too long

These shoes looked very good, but the laces were WAY too short to (almost) tie and the shoes were hard to get on/off. Not for me.

These shoes fit tightly across the top of my foot. They were uncomfortable. I purchased them to use for walking, and they just weren't comfortable enough. I had to send them back.

This type of Asics sneaker has been my go-to for several years. I don't understand why they keep needing to make tweaks and change the number - last time I got 7 and this time had to get 8 - probably several iterations ago were my favorite. But, they're still a solid shoe and my go-to. My last pair, the 7s, wore down in the toe and the inner heels in less than a year. I also wore them 90% of the time I wore shoes outside of the house and I now need to wear a SuperFeet insert after a pandemic home-too-long foot injury; pulling the insert in and out of the shoe probably contributed to the heel wear. So, I'm giving that pair a little bit of a pass for wearing what I consider kind of quickly. I do think that this latest model has a squeak to it when I walk. That's not ideal and what keeps me from giving it 5s overall. This would probably bug me more if I wore them inside or to a quiet workplace or library, but I'm mostly wearing them on walks and to run errands (in places that aren't particularly quiet) so it's a curiosity at this point. (Again, I would have stuck with Gel-Excite 4 or 5, if I could find them.)

i really hate to complain about these shoes because they are pretty and lightweight but I cannot wear them. They make a blister at the bottom edge of my heel. I quit wearing them for awhile for this reason, just tried them again last week, and again another blister (they are definitely worn in so its not that) The fabric is nor real stiff so theres a pinching at the bottom of the heel...

I repurchase the Gel-Excite every year. I’ve worn them for years, but unfortunately the Gel-Excite 8 has been substantially more difficult to wear. It’s much tighter and harder to break-in than any of the prior series. Still wearing them and it did get better, but there’s something off about the design of the 8 compared to the previous years.

I have always worn ASICS in regular width. I ordered these in wide width based on reviews. They are way too narrow and constricting. Sadly, they are found back.

I only buy ASIC sneakers. Usually no problems. These are the exception. Seams on top by the laces are rubbing my foot. Only had these for 6 weeks and a hole is beginning to form inside by heels. That usually doesn’t happen until month three. I know I’m hard on sneakers but these feel cheap and uncomfortable.

This shoe lacks arch support of the Nimbus. This is a good looking shoe. It is comfortable. Only complaint is that shoe strings are super short. Can't even tie a bow or use the loop. method for securing ankle section of the shoe.

I really liked the look of these shoes and the soles felt cushiony. I returned them though because they were snug on my high instep and made it go a little numb. I have a C/D width foot and supinate. I felt the toe box could have been a little wider but would have been allowable if it were not for my high instep.

I could feel the arch support a little too much under my left foot, which is flatter than my right. I didn't know how it would feel over time so I returned them. Otherwise, the size 10 felt good on my 9 1/2 size feet.
