Launch is the replacement for Ravenna. I don't like the Launch as much as Ravenna in that Ravenna fit like bedroom slippers from the first day I put them on. Launch doesn't fit quite that well. It seems like the size I always wore (10) is too big and I need to wear a 9.5 (for the first time ever in running shoes). The fit is not quite the same as Ravenna. I will try the Adrenalin shoe next time.

The shoe fit was a bit loose in the heel so needed thicker socks, but once I found the right sock the shoe was good

Great shoe, but not replacement for Ravenna 10, feels different, not the same energy return. Nice and light. Fair amount of cushioning, allows you to feel the road a bit more than the Ravenna, but still protected. Would recommend, good price point.

I will start by saying there is nothing wrong with this shoe design, it just isn't the shoe for me. I have a history of achilles tendonitis and plantar fasciitis, both of which flare up occasionally. I need really supportive shoes and I should have stuck with ghost or adrenaline, but these were on sale so I gave them a go. If you need a lot of support and/or cushion like me, then this is not the shoe for you. If you don't need as much support, I think you'll love this shoe. It is very sporty and fashionable, not as bulky as my other brooks.

Love the way they feel. They are not heavy and they feel smooth. They don?t hurt my feet a plus especially on my long runs . It has been a struggle to find the right running sneakers for me and I think I might have found them. The only think is if you can work on the laces that would be great. I don?t like stopping in the middle of a run to tie my laces. Over all so far I am impressed.

The Launch is a great running shoe! I was looking for a shoe that resembled the Ravenna and the Launch was recommended. Very lightweight, good support, and not too cushion-y like other shoes. They help my speed and so far my overall running. My heel did lift a bit when i first wore them but I just changed the way I tied my laces, everything feels good now.

They feel great while running and my feet don't hurt after running. I also dont feel like my calves are cramping as bad as they donwhen I run a lot.

I ordered this shoe in a half size larger, as suggested on the website. The shoe was too large, and I had to return them. I went ahead and ordered my usual size, and wore them over the weekend. Much better. I think I am going to really enjoy this shoe now that I have my size right.

New to the Launch. Have run primarily Books brand for last 30 years. Decided to try Launch with the GTS system as I need the extra support. They are light weight, which I like. Have only made a few runs in them so far, but am pleased with the experience to date.

I have worn ravena sneakers for 8 years ( for exercise and foot issue) and always panic when there?s a change- I am happy to say I didn?t notice a difference - good support laterally , comfortable roomy toe area and firm but soft surface . Only suggestion brighter colors

These feel a lot like the older model Launch and I have been eagerly waiting for Brooks to go back to what works. The new rollbar in the arch took a few tries to get used to but once I did, I didn't feel it anymore. I did knock off one star because I had to replace the flat, short shoe strings. They were slick and didn't stay tied or tight. Otherwise, good shoe.

I love these shoes! They are super light yet provide great support. I usually wear supportive inserts and don?t need them with these. I gave a four star because the heel part of the sole is wearing down after only 4-5 weeks of running 15 miles/week. I don?t think these will last more than 6 months, and I hoped for a year for the price.

Comfortable shoe. My feet get warm in them pretty quick but overall good fit and doesn?t rub on my ankles as much.

Its a good, solid shoe with firm cushioning. Not as stable as I would have liked but I will keep working with it.

I bought these shoes to prevent plantar fascitis issues and run with a more supported shoe. I ran with them for the first time yesterday and felt very cushioned. They felt low on the back of my heels but my foot did not slip out of them when I walked, so I am keeping them.

Have just worn them a few days so I can't really give a full review at this time. They seem to fit well not sure on the cushioning yet.

I ordered the pink ones of these and loved them. Unfortunately the black ones, same model!, are very stiff. The lacing also is too tight and short. I will likely be using these rarely and on hunt for a different shoe for running. Really a shame as I have loved Brooks for many years and appreciated the consistency in all their shoes feeling great. Beware it appears differences between colors are an issue for this model.

This is my second pair and they're good. I was fitted for the Ravennas years ago at a running store and stayed with them until the Launch GTS replaced them in Brooks lineup. I've tried a couple of the other Brooks running shoes and did not like them, so it's the Launch GTS 8 for me.

Personally, I just did not like the way the shoe fit my foot nor now the shoes look on my feet. I need a bit more stability in shape than the all-mesh athletic shoes give me. This is strictly a personal preference opinion.

I really wanted to love these but similar to other reviewers, my heels were slipping out of the back. It felt like my socks kept getting pulled down so I had to return them.
