The Brooks Glycerin GTS version, it seems to me, is a stability shoe with a lot of cushioning. I need a neutral, cushioned shoe because I supinate. I felt like this shoe was pushing me further out. After trying it for 10 minutes on the treadmill, my whole leg hurt from my hips to me knees right down to my ankles. So this would be a GREAT shoe is you pronate and really want a lot more cushioning than you have in your usual stability shoe. This is why I did not rate it lower for comfort. I did love the styling and the ombre gray color so much that I ordered it in the regular Brooks Glycerin.

good size and fit. Hate shoes without support/ no arch.

Really like the arch support and the feel of the shoe but one thing I couldn’t get passed and is the reason for returning is the toe box. Just too squishy. Can’t wiggle toes and therefore won’t last even for a walk

These are like a shoe tied to a big raft. I need cushion but not that much. I exchanged them for the Anthem 4 and I’m very happy with those for my level of exercise & time on my feet.

Why, after decades, would Brooks change this shoe, splitting into two models. It was not broken and did not need a fix. I tried the new "original" and developed plantar fasciitis after 2 long walks. Nightmare. So now I will need to find a new shoe with great cushioning, wide toe box and light weight. Urgh.

what a disappointment! I loved the glycerin sneakers & have 4 pairs. The fit is entirely different & very uncomfortable for me. Why change an extremely comfortable sneaker? And, you have numerous reviews confirming that it was a bad decision.

I am so disappointed in these shoes. I have worn Brooks Glycerin shoes for at least the last 15 years. No problems. Loved them. Reorder the next year's version, every year. But these 19s are frankly horrible. I got my normal size, way too small. But worse than that they rode on my heels so badly I have horrible blisters still. Sent those back bloody:( I tried the next half size up, then the next size up. The next full size felt like the right size, but still grabbing at my already sore ankles so badly I can't even wear them sitting down, let alone running. I'm going to have to switch brands, which breaks my heart. Why did you have to mess around with such a great shoe?

I never even tried these on. When they came the area that looks white on the website picture are actually pink - too pink! Ugly - they are going back.

I bought these shoes April 12, 2021. Today is June 5, 2021 and these shoes no longer have any cushion or support. My feet hurt when I put them on. I am sooo disappointed as I had such high hopes, as they felt so great when first unboxed.
