Long time Ravenna runner and was deeply dissatisfied with with the Ravenna 11 and 12. The heel quickly deteriorated and the toe was stiff and caused blisters. I went out and bought every older Ravenna shoe I could find because of this so I could continue running in them for as long as possible and hope Brooks would fix the shoe in time. Finally my last pair of Ravenna 10s needed replaced so I looked for the latest Ravenna and found it was replaced by the Launch GTS. I've been using them for over a month now and am very satisfied. The toe does not cause me blisters and the heel is very different; still good as well as I doubt it will suffer from the same problems of breaking down with the way it's shaped. The landing after each stride also feels like a blast from the past. After trying to extend the life out of my older shoes they clearly slowly lost the support I was used to from the shoe. These feel just as light and fast as I remember to expect from a Brooks shoe. Fingers crossed the heel holds up through the year, but for now I am very relieved to have a reliable shoe from Brooks and I don't need to hunt for another.

I switched to these from the Adrenaline and I'm not sure it was the right move. The tradeoff for how light they are is that there seems to be a lot less cushion in these shoes. I'd say they'll stay in the mix but will mostly come out for race day, trails (where there's lower impact), or for shorter distances.

Not terrible but not great. Size is a little larger than expected. Didn't feel particularly springy or cushiony, sort of middle of the road for everything.

I had an older pair of Brooks that hve been very good for several years. I needed a new pair and ordered these, Launch GTS 8, and was amazed at how light they were and how comfortable. I have very bad feet with multiple problems and these shoes seem to handle all of them.

They are comfortable but early indications are that they may not wear well. Soles seem soft.

Really wanted to like these but just couldn't get on with them. I understand how everyone's feet are slightly different in shape, I am particularly flat footed and mildly over pronate and therefore opted for the GTS option having ran in the Adrenaline GTS for many years with no issues but wanted to try something a little lighter in the Brooks range. Unfortunately, these trainers literally ripped my feet to pieces, within 4miles of the first run I had three blisters on the arch of each foot and a painful blister on the end of my little toe on my left foot! Tried again a few days later with a bit of strapping, but more blister issues. Looks like I'll have to relegate these down the choice of running shoes. Its a shame as I've always felt comfortable in Brooks trainers until these.

It isn't a Revenna but i like it! Feels a bit wider in the heel, but happy with the extra cushion.

Nice fit and relatively good support. Of course I am spoiled by several pairs of the Beast

Great support and stable sneaker. Less prone to knee and ankle problems. Would recommend it to all runners. You will run faster with this sneaker.

Supportive without the weight! I love how light these shoes are without added weight. The first few runs are almost "springy" as I feel propelled forward with each step. Further, after finishing my 3-mile runs I have no pain or discomfort in my lower body - at all! I am beyond impressed!

Going back to Brooks I need a supportive shoe due to using orthodics, previous experience was using the Chariot and Beast versions.

So far so good. I bought these as a replacement to my Brooks Glycerin 19 Road-Running Shoes. They were old and worn, And I was very fond of them. I bought these new ones because they had more support. I wear these shoes for lifting and running. So I'm looking for something that works for both. Not an easy thing to find. I find that I like wearing the Glycerin 19's more than these new GTS 8's but maybe once I retire the 19's then these new ones will become as liked. Its hard going from a shoe that you love wearing to a new one that doesn't feel quite as at home. But, yeah, so far so good. They're doing what they're supposed to do. They feel more narrow and pointy due to the added support system that the 19's didn't have and I suspect that makes me perceive them as less comfortable.

They are a good shoe. I am a huge Ghost fan. Tried another style to see. Wish I would have gotten this color in the Ghost 14. I have Ghost 8-14, two pair off adrenalines, a ricochet, and these Launches. Will NEVER buy another brand of running shoe
