This is my 4th pair of the Brooks Launch. I like the lightweight shoe for speed/distance runs. I have found to be comfortable and breathable, but probably not the most supportive of comfortable shoe that Brooks makes, but I think this is on purpose to keep it light and airy.

Bought this for my teenage son. Shoe arrived quickly and fits as expected but he did not like the way it feels coming from the Hyperion tempo and felt it was too ?bouncy?. I tried it as well as we are the same size and being more used to more cushioned shoes, I didn?t feel it was bouncy but didn?t feel as plush to my liking. Ended up returning the shoe but I don?t it was the shoes fault but more of it not aligning to our expectation when going by description.

The Launch is a fast lightweight shoe. Very comfortable, great fit. My go to shoes are the Ghost and Glycerin, which offer a bit more support and slightly more weight.

So far they?re holding up well, I previously wore Brooks beast for 11 years. They?re well cushioned in the heel and are holding up just fine.

Bought as an everyday shoe. It excels at being that. Comfortable for all day wear.

For starters, I love the color (bright yellow/green). My only complaint might be that they feel a little lightweight (not flimsy, really) compared to other shoes I've had from Brooks. They are a less expensive shoe, though and I don't intend to run in them-they are just a walking-around-in shoe. I anticipate that they'll be fine for my limited sports needs.

I have always purchased Nike, but due to their policies I have felt the need to no longer support them. I have really enjoyed the comfort, support and style of these Brooks shoes. In fact I am taking a young man from the gym to Playmakers for each of us to buy a pair of Brooks.

Not much cushioning, but light and fast. I usually wear an 11 1/2, but the 11 fits like a glove so I would say that the shoe runs a little larger than indicated size. The reason is probably that the toe box is not narrow.

These would be perfect if the soles were a little thinner/lighter (less mass). I really like the shoes and would buy them again. I was surprised at how effective the ventilation is in hot weather.

Comfort and support is excellent! My only issue with the shoes that I purchased is that the soles wear out quickly. The tread burns off after about 45-60 days (and that's only running/walking 3-4 times a week at around 3 miles per).

Logged about 350 miles on these so far. Holding up nicely. Right now they could hold up to at least 1000 miles of usage.

lightweight , size fits as advertised. I do not think I will use for long distance running but shorter workouts and casual wear

I'm very particular about my shoes. The Launch 8 seems to have a limited mileage life (200-250 miles) I started to notice the heal loosing it's cushion. I did wear testing for Asics for many years. It rather reminds me of the later DS trainers. Fix this heal issue and you've got a great shoe. Feel free to increase the drop by a mm or two. It wouldn't be a bad this for achille issues

Good neutral shoe. Bent lip on top of back of shoe is nice because it does dig into Achilles. Could use some more padding and support on bottom. Overall very good shoe!

A little too snug on my feet. But cushy and good support while running.

The fit was great and the comfort was awesome while walking and running.
I'd also recommend:
Asics and New Balance are my other 2 favorites.

Was a good fit, but was not as comfortable as Ravenna, in my opinion. Larry

Six months, wearing every third day at the fire station, and the soles are starting to lose support.

I had the older launch series, think it was 4 or 5. These ones are good but not as good , the base is still much harder than before, the cushioning in earlier models was the best. Rest of the shoe is fine , the grip for running could be better.

Very comfortable, roomy, previous versions rubbed at achilles. No break-in required; go out of the box.

Fast shoe. Not a lot of support. The ankles definitely feel a lot more free than they did in my old pair of Ghosts. Back of the shoe is a little higher too, which makes me think I might run into blisters down the road unless I pull my socks up a little further

My favorite shoe when launch came out was Launch.I wore Launch 1,2,3,4, and 5. I loved 1-4 and my feet hurt from wearing 5. I haven?t tried launch again until 8. My favorite Brooks are Ghost.
