I like the monochrome look. I bought the to wear as regular work shoes as the monochrome doesn't look as much like a tennis shoe. The color is more mauve. First pair ordered were short. I sometimes wonder if zappos gets in shoes thought to have errors. I returned and these fit better though are not as comfortable (feel stiffer) as the regular cloud. I recommend the regular cloud. Reg cloud is true to size. I have them in 2 colors from zappos tho might return one as the fabric is flimsy. It seems the upper material may vary by season. On cloud probably the most comfortable shoe I've worn.

On Cloud Monochrome look more like a shoe on your foot, less like a "runner" or tennis shoe. I first ordered it based on the shoe fitter where you enter various types of shoes and your size with the shoe fitter recommending a size. I ordered that size which is my regular size. The shoe was short as my toes were at the end, so I took the advice of others and ordered a half size up. That worked in length but the shoe was loose around my heel. I retied the elastic strings, and that eliminated the problem. I have arthritis in the joints in the ball of my foot and toes. I put ball cushions in the shoes, but they still feel stiff and not too cushioned in that area. That is why I lowered the comfort rating. My Zeba shoes have more cushion in that area but because they are a true slip-on runner with a collapsible heel, they look wide across the top of my foot. The OC Monochrome looks nicer. My sister bought an OC runner and thinks they have more cushion in the bottom of the shoe. (On the other hand, I think they make one's foot look much larger.) Overall, I am happy with the On Cloud Monochrome as a street (road) shoe.

Very narrow

Size up half size and if your arch is high your feet will hurt later. Very cute though.

I'm not 100% sold on the comfort of these, but glad to see Zappos offers a 30 day run test policy. I'm using these for my daily walking, but so far they're not comfortable to wear daily. I had high hopes based on the hype of these, but so far they feel basic, stiff and just generally meh. Definitely felt the half size larger was a better fit and I do have narrow feet.

They were not nearly as comfortable as expected and the rubbed on my heels and created a blister.

I have to return and exchange for a larger size. The 9 might be okay if your foot is narrow but it feels small on my wide foot. Also, where my toes start it actually is painful.

I own six pairs of On’s from Clouds to Stratus…. all size 9M. These 9M are so tight, they feel like a 7. I buy 8.5 in all my other brands (Keen, Adidas, Nike, etc), so it’s already annoying that these run so small that I have to buy 9’s. I’ll try another size and then give up on the monochromes.

Great looking shoe. Unfortunately I had to send them back. I am a true 9 M. My foot is not wide. Theses shoes were short on me and too narrow.

The fit on these was amazing - though this is after I got them in a half size larger than my norm. The only reason I am returning them is the color. I should have been clued in by the color name - pecan. They are browner than I imagined - not the charming, neutral orange that I had imagined.

The shoe runs narrow. I noticed other reviews commenting on that. Someone suggested buying the mens equivalent size but my size does not exist in mens. Great shoe otherwise but doesn’t work for me. A wider option would have been great

My size is 8, and I have narrow feet, but this one is smaller. Toes are tight.

Runs small. They are snug across the top of the foot. Best of worn without socks!

Very nice looking, but not comfortable and way too tight. I re-ordered cloud 2.0 and could not be happier.

Returning due to ordered wrong size

I have another pair same size, different color and they don't fit same. These are tighter. And, within 2 weeks the inside of heal has broken down.. Thankful for Zappos return policy.

rubbed the back of my foot to the point i was in pain and gave me pins and needles in my right foot. i was upset. expected so much more.

The size 8 was way too big and the 7.5 was too small. I feel like Goldilocks! Not sure I’m going to order another style.

I loved the style and color of these shoes (ordered in Flare) but I am solidly a size 7 in most shoes and the 7 in these were definitely too small. I tried going for a run but they pinched my toes to the point of numbness. Definitely lighter weight than my last running shoes. It didn't feel like these offered great arch support for my plantar fasciitis, but it may have been hard to tell because they were too small anyway. I know a proper running shoe fit is very subjective, so it's hard to base a purchase on reviews. But if I can offer one piece of useful advice it would be to size up.

Shoe fit good with extra room. The problem I had is that the sides started to open by small toe areas and my foot didn’t even touch that part. Was not happy they weren’t worn long and this happened.

Quality was not what I expected.

I love these sneakers but they’re so narrow. I’m so sad because I wanted to order a full size up and this gorgeous blue sneaker is sold out.

The color was too brown. It is advertised as "Grape" so I thought they would be more purple than brown. I kept trying to talk myself into keeping them, but I never wore them and decided I would hold out for another color. My favorite pair of OnCloud is a three tone (burgandy, beige, and grey) which I wish they would make again. Mine is about worn out!! Please pass on to manufacturer!
