I'm looking for a shoe that will help with overpronation, but this didn't achieve that. I have two pairs of Wave Inspire 15 (two generations ago) that did the trick, but so far no luck with new Mizunos.

I usually wear and 8, but ordered an 8.5 and these were perfect. I have worn the Mizuno Wave Rider 22 and absolutely loved it and these were a good replacement. I power walked 5.5 miles on the first outing and they are exactly what I wanted.

Lots of cushioning for a stability shoe which makes this shoe extremely comfortable. It’s recommended to go 1/2 size up but every time I buy Mizuno running shoes I need to go up full size. I think the shoes run a bit narrower than other brands but works for me since I have a narrow foot and heel. Toe box still average width and no slipping in the heel. Nice looking too.

Ok, ladies, I have serious foot issues that I am addressing with physical therapy. Every custom orthotic I have tried make me feet scream...I wish I had those two thousand dollars back that I spent on them. My PT wanted me to try a stability shoe and every one I tried was rock hard, Saucony Hurricane and Guide or had too high a heel to toe drop for my forefoot issues....Asics Gel Kayano. Brooks uppers were thin and flimsy. Enter this shoe......NO PAIN when wearing and finally relief for my tired, aching feet. They have excellent heel lock down without causing a bruise (yes that happened). They also are very soothing and cushioned without being mushy. The only con I can note is I do not like the colors of the upper,which is why I gave style four stars. I would prefer a solid color with other color accents. I think the one I got , which is black, looks sort of like a carpet material. I don't care, though, I will be buying more. The toe box is narrowish, rather snug, but I applied some shoe stretch and that helped. They seem much better made than others I have tried as well. So, after having foot surgery 14 years ago and wearing pretty much only birkenstock sandals and socks since, it is huge that I found a shoe that I can not only wear but is also comfortable. Well, done, Mizuno!! THANK YOU!!!!! PLEASE don't change these. Honestly, if people looking for a stability shoe would try these, they would never look back. Also, I wear a 10.5 and Zappos did not have any colors in that size so, sadly, I ordered elsewhere but will keep checking to see if Zappos will have them stocked in a 10.5. For reference, I have flexible flat feet, two neuromas, a bunion and a bunionette, usually wear a medium width, have narrow heels and a wider forefoot. I hope this helps someone else with foot issues.

I love these shoes, but I have high arches and high insteps, so they unfortunately felt tight on my instep. I think they would be great for anyone who doesn't have high insteps.

I love Mizuno shoes and have had great luck with fit with my normal size of 9. It was suggested when purchasing that I buy a half size up. However, now that I have the shoes and wore them, my feet slide around in them and they feel too big. For almost $160, it's an expensive mistake to make. I didn't know they were too big until I wore them for a while and went running in them, which makes returning them not possible. I'm very disappointed in Zappos to suggest buying a size up. Otherwise they are very comfortable, provide great support for overpronate issues and are great looking.

Love these for walking. They’re very lightweight with a soft upper. They feel like you’re walking on a cloud. You won’t get tired feet in these. They’re a bit snug width-wise, as my feet tend to swell and I wear orthotics. I hope that won’t be a deal breaker in the summer. So far, i have just loosened the laces enough to be comfortable.

I was super skeptical to order these a half size larger as recommended. I own the Mizuno Wave Horizon 4 in a Women's 9 and they fit great. I ordered these in a 9.5 and they fit just like last year's model in a 9. Very glad I ordered up. I've never ordered a 9.5 in any shoes before. Otherwise great runners!

I usually wear a size 9 1/2 but know that I wear a 10 in this brand. This is my third pair. Love the fit and comfort.

I have been wearing Mizunos for years and love them. They do run on the small side so I order a full size up. These have really good support and wear well!

I have very narrow feet, Mizunos are the only athletic shoe that fits me comfortably, plus it gives me balance. This is my second pair in the last 2 years.

I’ve been wearing the Wave Rider for years and decided to change it up and try the Wave Horizon because I liked the color/fabric. I haven’t worn them to exercise or run yet at I’m 9 months pregnant but they are very supportive/sturdy and I like the look.

This is my favorite running shoe for workouts or longer races. I have to buy a half size larger because Mizuno only offers a B width. However, it fits great otherwise. Zappos was great in their offer of availability and speed in having it delivered to my door! Kudos to them!

LOVE this shoe. Best pair of tennis shoes I have ever owned.

Good sturdy shoe. Did not particularly like the laces, hard, rough, small. And would have preferred a lighter color shoe. Glad they were not black, as was suggested in the description. They are more of a dark denim Which for me is better than black. Mizuno‘s hold up well. I am concerned the bottom tread design will collect dirt and will not be easily cleaned out.

These were a little smaller than previous Mizuno shoes, but still fit well. They have the usual flexibility. I wore Mizuno for years, and they were my favorites. I read all the negative reviews lately about changing the fit, but these were still okay, thankfully.

Great shoe! Feels a tiny bit more narrow than expected. Loosen the laces to make room, but still a tiny bit narrow.

These fit a little snug. I'm usually a 7.5 and buy an 8 in running shoes--these were still snug. I ran 5 miles on the treadmill after buying them and my feet hurt in a few spots. Good shoes--just not necessarily right for me. I just returned them--returning is SUPER easy though--so don't hesitate to try a shoe. UPS came right to my door and picked them up. Different shoes should arrive any day now!

I loved these shoes but my issue was they hurt my knee. Every time I wore them my knee got very sore. I truly wanted them to work out for me, because I like the style and comfort while wearing them, but my knee, for some reason, didn’t like them! I was so disappointed ?

I would have loved them except there was a funny bump under the base of my toes and then the top of toes went down to far.

Too wide in toe will exchange and try a different shoe

I'm on the fence about these. They are narrow and do not come in a wide. I did size up which was good but I'm not sure I could wear socks with them. I LOVE the fact that they don't have the medial side build up that most stability shoes have, and I love the firm heel counter. I just have to decide if they are too narrow. Why doesn't Mizuno make them in wides? FYI, I've never had to think about a wide size before. That being said , these were very comfortable other than the narrow width, and provide great support.

Need wider toe box

I've previously loved this line of shoes, so I ordered again. Wore for about 1/2 mile and then started getting substantial pain on the outside edges of both feet and the arch of one foot. Tried again the next day and the same thing happened, so they've been returned. I don't think this shoe offers much in the way of support anymore which is sad because I love how they look and feel.

These shoes fit amazing and I wanted to keep them. The problem is that they were so heavily sprayed with fungicide, that I had to return them. They didn't have that new shoe smell because of course, all new clothes and shoes have some chemical on them. They arrived separate from the rest of my order and the smell hit me as soon as I opened the box. The other shoes in my order were fine and I have to wear a shoe smaller than I'd like.
