Fit and size were just normal, overall build and fitting was marginal - unpadded skinny tongue was worthless. All in all, a rather close to junk pair of shoes by ASICS standards.

As always, this Asic shoe is comfortable and stylish, but new lacing design and heel collar need to be rethought.

The shoes are very comfortable but the down side is the soles wear out fast. Also must wear longer socks because they bite heels.

Whenever I would plant and push off when running it felt like the left sole had a weak spot in it. I loved the look and fit, but I am returning them bc of the defect.

They have shoe bite and make paiful sores near the heel. I think it is for the Knit version.

This shoe looks very cool on the picture but when worn, it is very painful. I LOVE previous Gel Nimbus shoes (Nimbus is my go-to favorite) but this particular knit version is not well designed. The knit upper opening is very tight and constantly pushes down on the top of my ankle and foot so much so, it cuts of the circulation to my foot and it gets tingly and painful. Also with all the pressure from the tight, knit opening, the bottom of my feet and especially toes hurt from being forced onto the bottom of the shoe. The back liner of the shoe opening is also very tight. There is a piece of thick fabric that curls in, towards my achillies tendon, so every time I push off with my toes and my foot plantar flexes, the material scratches my skin and leaves the back of my ankle with a cut, unless I wear long calf socks vs ankle socks. As for the cushion, I like all the previous Nimbus models because of the gel in the forefoot and heel. Im not sure if the Nimbus 23 knit has different cushion than the regular Nimbus, but the knit version's cushion is pretty hard. It maybe feels like this because of how much the knit upper pushes down on my foot. To relieve the pressure from the tight knit upper pushing down on my foot, I had to cut slits to form a "tongue" like effect as this shoes does not have a tongue. All in all, I purchesed these shoes because I liked the knit color design and LOVE GEL NIMBUS, but this particular knit design was not thought out and very painful. Im sure anyone who wears this shoe would suffer the same pains of a very tight knit upper (so tight the shoe laces are not neccessary), cuts off foot circulation, squishes feet into the bottom of the shoe, and cuts the back of the ankle with the knit sock liner opening.

I believe it is the 'knit' line but the back of the shoe rubs my Achillies raw and will cause bleeding at about the 1 mile point of a run. The material on the back is very rough and abrasive. Would not recommend. I always get the Nimbus line but will avoid the 'knit' moving forward

Fits totally different than regular model. It rubs my achilles raw unless I wear high socks. I would not recommend these. I love the standard gel-nimbus, but these are no good.

Didn't like the tight fit on top of my foot due to mesh style. Intend to return both pairs back to ASIC. It was my first time purchasing this style sneaker. Disappointed.

Didn't like the elastic around the ankle also had a hard spot on the heel where the elastic band ends that was highly uncomfortable.

The knit sock caused blisters around the ankle. Sadly, worn once on a treadmill and my husband said he will never wear them again.

It's a knit shoe, so fits really tight. Not the same as the same model in the store.

Terrible shoes. There’s no tongue and therefore a pinhole to stick you foot into. I should have returned them but mistakenly wore them to work

So disappointed. I have worn Asics for years and this shoe does not deliver! Within 10 minutes of walking, the back label rubbed against my achilles/heel - nearly causing it to bleed. So uncomfortable. Regretting buying.

Not nearly enough padding in the sole. It feels like walking on the plastic shank that's supposed to help with pronation. Very uncomfortable and awkward.

is a lack stability in the shoes. The Gel- Nimbus 22 are far superior shoes than this new series. In addition, the bottom of my shoe started to peel apart even though I have not even run outdoors in the shoes yet. I am a Physician at a hospital and I do a lot of walking around the hospital, therefore, the floor should not have cause the shoes to breakdown so easily. I would return the shoes, but unsure if I would get a refund for them.
