Very comfortable shoes. Make running fun again. I am not an avid runner but i now do multiple miles per week.

Great everyday trainer. Simple, stable, versatile and a good fit . Been using this shoe since the gel ds trainer 24's and don't even consider another shoe.

Great interval training shoe. Light and stable, which works with my sons flat feet. Disclaimer....I replaced the insole with the Superfeet Comfort Max.

Very comfortable trainer. I did go a 1/2 size up and they are little big but I prefer something slightly bigger vs snug. The color is bold but fun.

I have worn and loved Gel DS Trainers for over 20 year. Now in generation 26, the shoe has only gotten better. It is a superb shoe in every respect for the light to middle weight runner who good running mechanics. The DS Trainer 26 serves well for short and long distance training runs and for road races of all distances. I could provide additional detail pluses but the shoe speaks for itself.

I've been using Asics shoes since 202 and my size has always been EUR 45, US 11 or 28,5cm and since Asics were my first running shoes this 28,5cm was my goal standard for any brand of shoes. FF to 2021 and my 1st online purchase and of course I took 45 since it was always my Asics number and guess what, they are way to big. I really don0t understand whats going on with Asics last 6-7 years.

Very good shoes. Strong foot support, very light, fashionable, comfortable when running.

This shoe has a great balance between stability and flexibility for high impact workouts.

DS 26 updates are just right, very comfortable, smooth, fast ride.

A good shoe for speed work and short races. The DS 26 seems to be lighter than previous models, but it retains a traditional construction - not the newer carbon plate style.

Super light, but surprisingly supportive. However, would have appreciated a smidge more cushion in the forefoot.

Awesome shoe. It was just too narrow in the midsection so I could not keep it. Toe box was just fine. Wish I could get this shoe in right midsection width.

I'm on my second pair of the Gel-Ds Trainer 26's. I logged just over 300 miles on the first pair, but it took a full tube of Shoe GOO to get there. The outer sole wore out in less than 100 miles. I've been running in the Gel-Ds Trainer series since the 7th version of the series came out almost 20 years ago. In the past I was able to get 500 miles out of a pair. The last three versions, 24 on have had more the durability of racing flats vs. trainers.

So, trying to get away from super high stack shoes with a wobbly heel counter. You have to be on point in these shoes, good form, right surface. I'm about 5 pounds over my running weight and I can feel it in this shoe. I could see where this would make for a good tempo or fartlek shoe, but not a steady level 2-3 pace. The foam in the toe box beats you up a bit. Quick specs..runs long, but narrow, so you might want to stick to your size. The grid pattern on the tread picks up little pebbles, just a little annoying. I'm just going to save this for my interval shoe. The lack of padding in the midsole makes life hard when your not on your A game. I would not use this for a racer. I'm not going over 6 mi in this shoe, too harsh.

The shoes look great and fit snug. However, the sole does not have good cushion, and I've had bad sciatica pain after 2 easy runs.

I had purchased the GEL-DS TRAINER 25 that were good quality. I have had the GEL_DS TRAINER 26 for a couple of weeks and the souls are coming unglued. I have looked at the other ASICS shoes and the sole are made the same way .

This is my 6th pair of the Gel DS Trainer. These shoes are significantly less durable than previous models (24 and 25). After only a few weeks of training, the grip has worn through in a few places and the upper is also breaking down. My previous pairs lasted many miles more.

Didn't last a week. Used for AIT national guard training and in less than a week of being used only for runs there was a hole worn into the side.

Sole is hard so slippery to the point of being dangerous on indoor surfaces. Too late my too. For my normal size there's about two inches of shoe extra at the toe.

Cheap quality.. my son shoes got holes at some places after using for couple of weeks

After wearing the shoes two times, the sole started to peel off. My son hasn't been able to wear them again since.
