I have been looking for ultra comfy slides since my adidas superstar slides were redesigned. These have the super cushioned footbed that I need because of my deteriorating fat pads. Most slides have a harder plastic or rubber footbed that is just a bit too hard for my feet. TOne drawback is that they don't 'slide' on very easily. The footbed covering and the leather strap across the top of foot are both a bit grippy, making it a bit of a wiggle-fest to get ur foot in, especially if you are wearing socks. I would also prefer the strap across the top of the foot to be adjustable in some way (many slides use velcro for this) because it fits juuuuust a bit loose and may stretch out over time because that top strap is leather. i have no idea why it needs to be leather. i would prefer non-leather because it would be less likely to stretch and maybe less grippy. But the main feature for me is how comfy the footbed is and for that alone these are keepers. It is not so soft that your foot just sinks to the bottom.
