I wear the shoes primarily as walking shoes but they can be worn anywhere. All my Skecher shoes have been great. I wear them until them until they are practically worn out and I wear them to do yard work.

I have just retired and started walking for exercise. Casual shoes were not comfortable and I don't want to wear sneakers. These are better looking than sneakers and much more comfortable than the casual shoes I was walking in.

Walk outside everyday, 4-5 miles on asphalt and these shoes hold up very well, i have 2 pair and I rotate from dry conditions to wet. Best outdoor shoes I own from Sketcher wears very well wish they would make additional shoes with the Goodyear soles!

I bought these for a winter walking shoe since my running shoes are meant for breathability and not warmth. They are much warmer and they are water-resistant for now. My only complaint is that they are super soft and it feels like you are walking in sand. So if you are trying to walk fast you will be frustrated.

Overall, the shoes are slightly big and a bit heavy. I have worn a variety of Skechers - steel-tied safety shoes, hiking shoes, and now these walking shoes. There is undeniable consistency in the Skecher family of shoes.
