I've had my boots for less than a year and the bottom cracked straight across a couple of months ago. I came here to buy another pair thinking I did something wrong but now I see a bunch of reviews of other people with the same issue. I'm not understanding the responses from the SE team that they stand behind the construction of their boot, especially at this price point, given the number of people who have shared this feedback.

The shoe does run on the small side and the first three wears were uncomfortable. However, when I tried a bigger size, they felt too big. After some wears, the shoe has stretched which I can now wear them comfortably. Should be noted that I do have a bit of a wider foot.

Love these boots! Very fashionable and comfortable, and love that they're water resistant. The 1 draw back is that they're tough to get on, but it's getting easier with a shoe horn.

Beautiful boot but not that comfortable and very difficult to get on due to narrow opening. These are aesthetically perfect: a chunky heel Chelsea boot. But my slightly thick legs are very hard to get into the narrow opening of this boot. It’s really annoying. Why didn’t they make the tabs big enough to get your finger in?! They’re not that soft soled. But I really like how they look so I’m keeping. I’m usually a 6.5 or 37 and I sized up to a 7 and they’re maybe a tiny bit too small but I can manage with thin socks.

A smart looking and comfortable choice. Sam Edelman is making some of the best footwear out there. Theyve hit the sweet spot in terms of looks, quality and price.

These boots are beautiful! the leather is excellent quality and the craftmanship is perfect. The sole is so fashionable, just what is in vogue at this time. Unfortunately, I had to return mine because either the elastic is so tight or the opening so smalI that I couldn't fit my foot inside completely.

This is the second year having the same problem. Spoke with customer support and the last year and the dismissed my complaint. So this year I say this is a major concern. I like the boots they look good bit mu soles keep splitting. I vave brought several boots and clothing. See picture below. The boots are I'm great condition otherwise. They should at least replace their product hen they fell to meet standards of quality. This was my first time wearing them this season.

I love these boots. Theyre easy to pull on. I was worried they would be too heavy, but theyre not as heavy as other Chelsea boots. Im excited to keep wearing these throughout the winter.

They are maybe clunkier than I would prefer, but I have a wide foot, so it is what it is. Very comfortable for long stretches, so thats great.

So happy with these! Theyre comfy, keep my feet warm and dry, and I get a lot of compliments on them. I have narrow, low volume feet and have a hard time finding boots that will fit snugly around my foot and ankle, but these are perfect. Id love to get another pair in a different color!

The fact that I have to struggle to put these on and not even a shoe horn helps very much deters me from reaching for these. The fabric tab on the back of the boot isnt big enough to get my finger in to pull the boot on. Theyre pretty, they keep my feel dry, but the morning struggle is a lot.

I purchased these for an overseas vacation. They were comfortable and stylish, didn't need breaking in - but after about 10 wears, the sole split completely - a vertical break right up through the (quite thick!) sole. I am very disappointed, clearly there is a fault in the making of these (or the quality is just bad). For $160, I would expect these boots to last more than a couple of months. Won't buy Sam Edelman again.

Such a bummer I got these on sale (no exchanges or returns) I bought these in my true size and these run extremely big, like 2 sizes too big. Now Im out some money and out a pair of shoes I cant wear.

I LOVED this boot, it looked great but after 3 uses, the side of the boot cracked. They were super comfortable, just not worth the price since they dont hold up.

DO NOT BUY THESE BOOTS. READ THE REVIEWS, they appear to be good quality but after a few wears you will be sorry. I purchased in November 2021. I wore these boots a handful of times as they dont go with a lot of my outfits, theyre quite masculine. I put them on today and noticed one of my feet felt wet. The entire sole split in half, how I have no idea but scrolling through these reviews it sounds like Im not the only one this happened to. A few wears and the sole split and leaks water through 2 layers of shoe.

Love these boots. Love the monochromatic color and the fact that I can wear these all day. I've taken these on two trips-- to Washington DC and to Scotland-- both places, I walked over 5 miles a day each day. Never did my feet hurt. Great show. Would buy again.
