Beautiful boots, however they were too narrow for my calves. I'm 5'2" and size 6-6.5 in shoes but sized up to 7.5 and still these did not fit my calves. I'm petite with muscular calves. Sad I had to return.

I just bought these and they are absolutely beautiful. HOWEVER, they are very tight on my calves. I can barely get them all the way up. I've never thought I had large calves before so this was a surprise for me... I really want to try to make these work but I'm not sure I can.

The color was a creamy off white and very pretty. Quality was good for the price. The actual foot of the shoe was true to size but the shaft was way too tight. I have athletic size calves, but not large. I could pull the boots all the way on but they were uncomfortably tight on my calves and difficult to zip.

Very strange fit--extremely tight at the ankle and loose at the calf. I had enough difficulty getting it on (the half-zip doesn't help) that I gave up and returned them. It would have been better for Sam Edelman to go with a full zip for an ankle this narrow; my Michael Kors over-knees and Marc Fisher knee-highs with half-zips don't have this problem.

I bought these boots in the Tawny Croc color. I tried them on and I couldn't get the top of the boot over my calf. At all! I don't have big calves so the boot shaft must be super narrow. I've never run into this issue before. It's disappointing because they are beautiful boots. I'm very sad they won't fit, so I'll be returning.
