I tried 2 other asics tennis shoes and I found the Speed FF 2 the most comfrptable. The main reason is that my heel doesn't slide out like others and it seems to be more true to size.

Great fit, my favorite pair of tennis shoes so far. More comfortable and light compared to gel resolutions, with a little less stability that I personally don't really notice. Much more comfortable than adidas's ubersonics (lots of toe jamming in those), and fit very well

Great, light, impressive design shoe with amazing court grip. It was slightly narrow for my wife toe and stiffer but it softened up after 2 days of use. It does not have good enough arch support if you are hoping for any, so I ended up putting my own SOLE orthotics for ideal arch support. I love this model and would buy more.

My regular size in Asics Resolution Gel is 12. I bought a 12 and 12.5 on the Solution Speed. The 12.5 seems same size as the 12 in the Resolution. The Asics Solution was easy to break in, and seemed supportive for a light shoe. I have a postal scale and the size 12 weighed 12.5 oz, while the 12.5 weighted 13.5 oz. Substantial difference but looking at the 2 sizes the 12.5 is substantially more shoe in length, likely width. Feels more substantial too

These are very lightweight shoes, which is what I was used to in my older Asics tennis shoes. These seem like an improvement in the fit, less wiggle room and heel lift. It seems they enable quicker movements on the court with less strain on joints.
Unless you use the last set of holes, however, they do exhibit heel lift, especially if you have high arches. The provided laces are a tad too short to use those shoelace holes and be able to tie them up easily. I ordered 60" laces, which should be just long enough.
Since I have high arches, I use SuperFeet black inserts. These will be thicker than the Asics inserts but offer better arch support. Hence, I cannot comment on the comfort of the shoe with the Asics inserts.
Having only played in these twice, at this point I am delighted in the fit and overall performance. Cannot speak to durability quite yet.

Excellent balance of fit, support and speed. Other shoes I've tried are either comfortable and supportive or light and fast. Generally my solution was to use the supportive ones for practice and the faster ones in matches. However many of the faster ones would take a toll on my feed which I didn't love. Plus having to make a decision about what shoe to wear is a waste of my time. I think this shoe has it all. I bought these for hard court but the bottom is pretty good for clay so I may not have to buy new clay shoes next year and use these for both surfaces. Another bonus.

Perfect fit. True to size. Lightweight, quick. Surprisingly comfortable on long days of play. Durability isn't the best but they don't claim it to be. Switching from gel res 7,8's and not looking back

I am enjoying my Solution Speed FF 2... as well as my Solution Speed FF which I have worn to play Pickleball 3-4 times weekly for the last year...
The major difference to me appears to be the new tread design which you can see
by viewing the sole... Looks like it may give better traction..

Love the fit and feel of these shoes. Running shoe tech in a tennis shoe. I play Pickleball in them for hours in complete comfort. Will buy again !
