My sister let me try her shoes on at Christmas. They felt great. I had to have them for my own. It took me awhile to track them down but finally found them through Zappos. I don't usually spend $$ on shoes...but these were worth it. I can wear these shoes all day and my feet don't hurt. Love them!

Perfection! I was looking for “hiking boots” not necessarily going through trails but going places w dirt fields (flea market, our local food truck lot, etc) these are perfect. Comfy straight from box. Not narrow not wide perfect in length w a little wiggle room if I want thicker socks. Lightweight yet sturdy and oh yeah did I say comfy? I’m a size 8 in everything ordered size 8.

I have a hard time finding shoes that dont kill the tops of my feet, and turn out to be wide...when they say they aren't wide. These boots deliver. My only suggestion is putting in a zipper on the inside and making them easier to get on and off. I bought my size, which is a size 8. They hug my feet well without suffocating them and there is room in the toes.

These hiking shoes felt very comfortable from the moment I put them on. I haven't gone on a hike with them yet, I'm waiting for the cooler weather, but I'm optimistic they will feel great based on wearing them around the house. One minor issue is that the top of one of the tongues pressed/cut-in against my shin bone just above the ankle when the laces were tightened But I think once I wear them that will soften up. The other comment I'd make is that the insoles have no arch support, just a flat piece of soft fabric, but I replaced those with my custom orthotics which helps a lot. Without the orthotic, they would have provided no support other than the height of the boot providing a bit of ankle stability.

Everything was as described: fit, fabric and look.

These feel very comfortable and they look exceptional! Very happy with these so far.

Every year I go on a mad quest to find cute hiking boots to keep my feet warm in the winter. Sadly, I missed an opportunity to buy a great pair of Ecco boots that either sold out or were not offered in my size (I'm sure they were offered but sold out early). That began my quest to find an alternative. This is my first experience with Skechers and for the most part, it's a positive one. My preference in boots is for leather uppers rather than man-made materials. There is a small section of leather on these boots around the perimeter and encasing the heel. I was a little disappointed that the upper is man-made to resemble suede. I would have preferred real suede or nubuck. The best feature of these boots is the comfort which amazed me. The footbed is very cushy. The plaid detail around the top of the boots is a nice touch. I don't think these would hold up to rough hiking but for around town, they are ideal.
