Keen's generous toe box and wider fit is their comfort signature, and very stable on all surfaces. The heel is well cushioned and the overall fit near perfect in the canvas shoe. Tried the leather Austin, yet the toe area at the tongue was not sewn for my foot's comfort.

I got these hoping to love them. They fit great, they're stiff but that'd ease with wearing. Size was spot on. But I got them because I couldn't find anything I loved and I needed some shoes. I wish Keen had some shoes that weren't so bland or granola. These look like a guy driving his Camry to his cubicle but wants to remind people he goes hiking on the weekends. If Keens had the color or style of Converse or classic Vans I'd be all over it. For $135 I really need to love them. They went back.

Ordered size 10 shoe feels like size 11 had to return

NOT waterproof. I had to walk through some snow, and water seeped in around the edges of the sole. It's water repellent at best, but they said waterproof. I also question the quality control, since the tongue of the left shoe won't stay on top of my foot - it slips down toward the left side of my foot. That's never happened to me with another shoe. It's not comfortable because the lacing area presses on my foot, and the tongue feels weird on the left. These are issues you won't notice in a quick test, and then you won't be able to return them. Beware.

I bought these because My older ones were worn out after about 2 years. This is not the same shoe! They replaced the inner material with a slippery synthetic type plastic that squeaks with every step. Not only that but it has caused a callous on my one foot. In my opinion Keen, was misleading in not branding it as a generation 2 or similar. I have always been a big fan of Keen but no longer after this. They definitely did not research the change. Also beware of Zappos return policy, they have to have all original tags attached and in original box otherwise these would have gone back.

When I got these I put them on and instantly said "no way". They were stiff, no support, hard a rock and hard to get into. But I thought let me try an insole with some more support and give. One hour dog walk on grass and rocks and I could barely walk. Three hours later my upper thigh has twinges and my left feels still out of whack. Stay away from these shoes. Note I have been a Keen guy for over 40 years.
