These look much worse/more aged IRL than in the photos. I bought these to replace a 9 year old pair of Keen's hiking boots that still work but just look ancient because they are my daily shoe (ankle support!) and I'm moving to a new country and want to look a little nicer and though these look cleaner, they barely look any newer. :\ I literally thought I had accidentally ordered used shoes when I opened the box and had to go check the website to confirm, but no, they really are new. The stitching has a few error-looking bits and the edging looks frayed. I'm super disappointed. If they had only looked as aged as they do in the photos, it would have been okay.
But if you don't care what they look like, then these are fine. It's all just cosmetic issues as far as I can tell.

I have been a carpenter for 25 years, have worn many different sorts of boots to find comfortable foot wear. I am beyond thrilled with the Ridge Flex boot.
1st they are incredibly light weight
2nd they are water proof
3rd I feel as if I am walking on air.
I purchased my first pair and loved them on my motorcycle as they protect my feet, yet if we get off and go hiking around, my feet are comfy.
I bought a 2nd pair for my new job, I am working in a hospital environment, I do up to 7 miles some days, other days I am standing in one spot for hours at a time. Love, love, love these boots.
Also convinced my husband to buy a pair and he is also amazed at the comfort level of this style!!!

The tongue of these boots is designed so that when the boots are tied, the tongues attachment fabric rubs against the front ankle joint. I took them out for a short hike, but didnt even leave the parking lot. After several adjustments failed, I took them off and put on my old boots.

Warm even tho technically not insulated. Great for all seasonseven winter when snow is not too deep. Love that there is room to wiggle the toes! This my 2nd pair and the first lasted for many years and untold miles of hikes. They were still waterproof but were just losing tread. I have NEVER gotten wet feet in these boots!

I wanted good boots that I can use during the winter months in Illinois. These run slightly wide, but a good pair of socks should remedy that. Traction is very important to me and I find that these are quite grippy. You cant really go wrong with Keen. If traction is your key to your purchase, then these are what you need

Please make some half sizes after size 10. Going up a full size is too much and I have heel blister from the looseness. Uncomfortable around the ankle, could use better padding.

The left boot felt like I was tilted inward and had to compensate by leaning on my outer sole. I think it was a manufacture issue as the right boot fit great. I returned them, and still looking for boots.

I've always liked the fit and durability of the keens boots. Prior I have bought mens as I have wide feet but I found these and was impressed they accommodated my wide feet. I've had these boots since March 2021 and have had to glue the bottoms back on twice. I'm very disappointed that the black textured rubber on the bottom shoe basically falls off in strips and no heavy duty glue will make it stay. It was after about 30 miles on them I noticed the rubber coming off and other pieces pocketing trapping debris. To add to my displeasure the "bellows" are nosey and the over all cushion of the foot bed wanes overtime to become uncomfortable. I'm not easy on my boots and living in the back country of the UP isn't doesn't help but I expected them to last longer and be better quality

Im a Womens Size 12, and returned these right away. The ridge flex feature painfully folded straight down into the top of my foot each step since it isnt scaled appropriately for the larger size shoe.
Im so sad, I wanted to love them! Keens have always been my 100% go-to for the size womens 12 options, the wider toe box, durability, and delight on the trail. I cant change the shape of my foot, but Ill have to change how I look for boots and what other brands I consider now.

Keens were part of my success in grad school as I hiked 400+ miles to collect my data in the back country, and truly the only boots/shoes Ive bought over the last 10 years.

These were my first pair of hiking boots, and I loved them! I have wide, flat feet that tend to rub against my shoes when they swell, but these boots were comfortable to wear all day long even after hikes! Their maiden voyage included a hike up Iceland's second tallest waterfall, glacier walking (on and in glaciers with crampons attached), mountain foothills (rocky terrain), and the beach. They kept my feet/ankles protected and comfortable during all these hikes/walks. The only time I felt some slight moisture coming through was when I stepped into water veins within a glacier.

I run between a size 7 and a Size 7.5. I got the 7.5 . My feet are not particularly wide, but they are duck foot shaped, so I always need a generous toe box. These boots are a great fit. They do require me to wear a thicker sock, for the best fit. These are my second pair of keen boots and I'll keep coming back!

I love these so much! I stand on my feet in one spot all day and these are a life saver! My feet dont even hurt after standing all day. They fit perfect. I also have heel spurs and plantar fasciitis and flat feet. These are so supportive and comfy! Will never buy other shoe again

Bought these boots a year ago and they still take me on a lot of hikes. I find them durable, good even for muddy terrain because they are waterproof. Currently put some insoles in them because they were on the loose site for me, but I am still happy to wear them everytime!

I was so excited to get these boots with the bellows flex in womens 12, as they only carried up to 11 locally. I couldnt get them laced tight enough to cinch them around the middle of my foot. As tight as I could pull them, the tongue and inside of the boot immediately rubbed the bony parts of my feet, and the toes of the boot stuck up like a clown shoe. They fit then but were too uncomfortable. My old keens lasted 6 years, and I have been hunting for a comfortable boot since then. Mens boots dont generally fit me, as once they are big enough, they are too big around the ankle and mid foot and too stiff/heavy. I ended up going for a mens lightweight high top hiking boot that feel more like tennis shoes.

I purchased the ridge flex water proof boots in July. They were done by December. The Ridgeflex rubber cracked on both boots exposing the underneath side as I feared they might. This will render them worthless for waterproofing or serious hiking I like to do.

I actually have three pairs of these boots as I find them so comfortable. BUT, they are definitely not waterproof. In heavy rain or even if walking through damp grass, my feet end soaking wet. Not how they are advertised and not what you would expect from a walking boot.

Bought these to replace some old Timberland work boots I had. I'm on my feet all day, but I'm a woman with really wide feet so my dogs were barking by the end of the day. Not anymore. I love Keen's wide toe box. Fit is true to size for a sneaker (I'm a 7 in most boots, and an 8 in sneakers. 8s in these fit great). I'm curious to see how the accordion toe crease style holds up, but so far I've warn these in all sorts of weather (I work in fish culture in New England, so they're wet a lot) and they've held up really nicely. I took 1 star off because I found them really difficult to get on, especially if I'm wearing thick socks. But once they're on, my feet are dry and comfy all day.

I love love love my Pyranese boots but was looking for something with a winter tread. These feel very clunky, rigid & heavy.
I think they run a half size large. Going to stick with my trust Pyranese and wear grippers if I have to.

Thought I would try these instead of the Targhees. They weren't even close to a match in comfort. The area where the inside of the tongue attaches to the shoe horribly dug into the side of my foot. Returning them and sticking to the tride and true Targhees!

Really wanted to love these, very nice looking but the comfort just wasn't there. I have been a Keen fan for many years and one of the things I like most is the no break-in and instant comfort. Unfortunately, the tongue design on this style was the deal breaker. Within minutes it was digging in, different design than my Voyageur's and just isn't going to work for me.

I am a loyal Keen customer, I've hiked in their boots for the past 10 years. These are the first I have ever returned after just trying them on-the weird accordian plastic on the top of the boot warps the whole shoe when you tighten the laces. Why does everything have to be so over-engineered?

I finally opened the package and to my dismay there were tiny spots on one boot and mild scuff marks. I am returning. I did put them on to try and they are really uncomfortable.
