We ordered looking for an alternative to New Balance and Carter’s shoes. (Our last pair of New Balance failed after only 5 weeks). My son usually wears a wide which is readily available in those two brands on Zappos. This was not a wide, but decided to give it a try anyway. The length seemed to fit well, but definitely not enough flex in the sides to adjust for a wider foot. It seemed tight to me and my 5 year old said it felt a little funny. He liked the shoe o.k. But we have elected to keep some of the others and return this one. Be advised that the colors are true to the picture - wild. My 5 year old thought it was great.

the sizing was as expected. I bought these for my 8 year old and there was significant wear after only a few days of wearing. He still wears them but refers to them as his ripped up sneakers. I would expect better quality for the price and brand.

These are really cute and fit pretty well, but less 6 weeks after receiving these there is already a hole forming in the toe of the shoe. It's our first attempt at Asics so I guess we'll try another brand. It's also hard to get the shoe tight enough for my kiddo as the velcro strap does not loop through from one side to the other, back over itself to tighten, but rather just closes from one side to the other. Not a big fan and super disappointed at how they've lasted.
