For little feet these shoes would fit into, it would be nice if they weren't using shoe laces. Kids at this age still doesn't know how to tie their shoes efficiently. So it always take forever for them to get out of the doors. Otherwise, they are felt in terms of fit and comfort. Love the colors also (navy blue and red).

Not worn yet as I bought it for the new school year for my very active 4th grader. The appearance is sturdy and attractive and I will see how it holds out once it gets worn.

My daughter is currently wearing a Saucony (big kid) size 4 shoe to school - the shoe fits well and she still has a bit of room to grow. I wanted to buy her a running shoe for her track club and decided on a 4.5 in the ASICS Kids Contend. It was too small: my daughter's toes were hitting the top of the shoe. So we returned and asked for a 5.5 size next: they fit well with plenty of room to grow. She thinks they are stylish and comfy.

Main purpose of buying this was to find a sneaker that relieved my son's heel pain. These did not do the job. His heels would be in pain all day at school. He currently has heel inflammation (Severs disease)due to his feet growing. I do not recommend for anyone dealing with heal pain but maybe it would be fine for those without foot issues.

These are premium, high quality shoes. I'm an asics fan, but... they only lasted 6 weeks before a hole appeared on the toe. I'm disappointed they weren't more durable for young kids. They need some reinforcement there to prevent such quick wear out. 4 mos is minimum in my book.

Love the shoes. The laces didn't last 2 weeks and ASICS refused to provide new ones. This has happened twice.
