updating review: these were stiff at first but after being washed and worn a few times they did indeed become relaxed, almost to the point of looking baggy/sloppy. i would consider sizing down if i bought these again, because the cut/fit is generous and the cotton does loosen up quite a bit.

35 waist 30 length: fit not as 'relaxed' as expected but they do fit "just right" on the person i got them for (as long as they don't shrink). haven't washed them yet, will report back if anything changes

Mine were not true to size at all, very, very large. I have several pair of MK pants with a 36 waist that fit just fine but the ones I just received were like a size 38 or 40 waist. Perhaps they mislabeled them?
